I recently visited Bag O Crab and ordered Option 2, which should have included 1 pound of snow crab legs, 1 pound of shrimp(head on), 2 corn, 2 potatoes, 4 sausage slices, a lobster tail, and 1 hard-boiled egg for $90. Unfortunately, the meal was far from worth the price.
The lobster tail and shrimp were both severely overcooked. The lobster tail was so tough it was nearly impossible to remove from the shell, let alone chew, while the shrimp were mushy from being overcooked as well. The crab legs, while cooked decently, were very small in size and nowhere close to the pound I was promised. What I actually received was closer to a cluster and a half, which I know from experience is far less than a pound. For $80, this felt like a major disappointment and a rip-off. The corn and sausage was also tough, which leave me to believe they are cooking food well in advance and to keep the food hot for consumers, they are causing it to over cook when ordered. The potatoes weren't hard, but was simply a potato with no real taste.
The sauce was another issue. I’ve seen other reviewers compare it to spaghetti sauce, and I can definitely understand why. It was extremely garlicky, thick, oily, and not something that paired well with seafood. It made dipping unenjoyable.
The only saving grace of this visit was the customer service. My server was understanding and kind, even when I mentioned my concerns about the crab leg portion size. She explained that the seafood is weighed in advance by the company, which makes me feel like the problem is bigger than just this location, perhaps. It may have also helped that I was the only customer at the time. Which again makes me wonder, if service is slow, why isn't the food being cooked at a slower rate to prevent overcooking?
Overall, I left feeling cheated and unsatisfied. I will not be recommending Bag O Crab to others, nor will I be returning. The quality and portion size simply don’t justify the high price & was simply a waste considering I couldn't enjoy the food and had to throw it out. They do offer a military discount though for those whom are serving.

Delicious and fresh. I literally had just got off Amtrak from a cross country trip.. I needed this for sure. We had the snow crab and shrimps for $48..sausage portions could be better. Their wings are fire 🔥 had left overs and everything was still Yummy warmed up. marinating/seasoning create such yummy flavors. Definitely would stop in again when in the area.

My family enjoys going to Bag O' Crab to have some delicious crab combo's. We like that they also offer rice (we're pacific islanders and eat rice with everything), unlike some other seafood restaurants. My daughter loves their Korean Spare Ribs since she doesn't care for seafood.

Ordered king crab to go last night about 8:30 pm. I could barley remove the meat the shell and once I did it was so rubbery. It was like chewing on rubber bands. They were already closed so I called the restaurant the next morning to let them know hoping they would make it right They refused to believe me or do anything to make it right because I didn’t have the food. What a waste of $60 My bad for throwing it in the garbage disposal so my house wouldn’t stink all night.

My wife got the crab it was great I got the Louisiana fish it was raw no taste but the rice and coleslaw was good at first they didn't take it off my bill then I asked him why didn't they take it off then he walked away and went and took it off I will go back again and try it again but I will not get the fish
