Chef Chen's Chinese Restaurant

Service was fast, they had my order ready in less than 15 minutes. I did encounter a problem—I ordered “#3 Eggplant and Stringbean” and I asked if there was protein, and they said no. I said may I please add chicken. They say yes, very accommodating. I got home, opened my box and there’s huge chunks of tofu and was confused. I was digging around for my eggplant but there wasn’t any. Not sure where the communication failed. Food was also heavy on sodium :/ But I do love the flavor! It was just too much and my order was wrong.

I ordered from Chef Chen's bc Dynasty in Fairfield is closed on Mondays and I really should have waited for Tuesday lol

The beef and broccoli wasn't bad, but the fried rice having lettuce in it really threw me off.

I won't be ordering from here again.

Old owners out, New owners in! totally new taste I love it I didn't go for 10 years straight because the old ones food cooking was just plain gross. These twins know how to cook great,Good size, will be back again my new favorite Chinese restaurant in town!!!

I came in on a rainy day, looking for something to eat, and I remembered that a friend of a friend had recommended this place. My partner had already come here and said that the food was really good. We sat down. I got Mongolian chicken and my partner got to Szechuan beef And they were both cooked to perfection very tender. My partner doesn’t like spring rolls but when they tried Chen spring rolls, he did enjoy them. He said that they were well fried and had a very pleasant garlic taste. The main dishes had plenty of the vegetables as advertised, and they were crisp and well seasoned. They had plenty of sauce. It was spicy, but not too spicy and it wasn’t too sweet not too salty. I very much enjoyed the experience. I would come back. Oh all that for the lunch special $13.99 a plate can’t beat that in today’s economy

Chef Chen’s is hands down the best Chinese restaurant in the area! The food is fresh, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned every time. The portions are generous, the staff is warm and welcoming, and the service is quick. Highly recommend the chicken chopsuey— absolutely delicious!

My go to place every time I’m craving fresh Chinese food, it’s very good, we come here almost every week. The orange chicken and wonton soup never disappoints, I recommend this place! :)
