I wanted to support local but holy hell, a sandwich with a drink (and tip) was $24!! The sandwich is mid, nothing special about it at all.
The inside of the restaurant smelled really weird, not a good smell. There were no customers, just the workers family and kids running around.
The devilled egg came with the sandwich, it was not very good.
Definitely won't be returning, the smell inside almost made me not even want to order

Seemed like this was going to be a good lunch place, but probably won't return or recommend it. Definitely not a good value.
Ordered a cup of each of the two soups of the day. Was told one was not available, but another one was. Not a problem, but suggest updating the menu board. On the plus side, the person for whom I purchased the soups said they were tasty.
The bummer was the Reuben sandwich. Do NOT order this! Pastrami was dry and there was the least amount of sauerkraut on the sandwich that there could be without it being false advertising. I've eaten Reuben sandwiches across the nation and this was far and away the most disappointing.

Disappointing to say the least. Mainly with how much we paid vs the portion size of the actual food we received. Taste was there, fresh, flavorful, hand crafted sandwiches but man I could've spent 46 bucks on twice as much food at any other sandwich spot and walked away satisfied. Mr. Pickles, sourdough Co., Togo's, and even Jersey Mike's are way better. In my opinion.

Delicious, Fresh, and Always Hits the Spot!
Diggers Deli is one of my favorite lunch spots in Vacaville! The sandwiches are always fresh, packed with flavor, and made just the way you like them. The ingredients taste high-quality — crisp veggies, soft bread, and generous portions of meat and cheese. You can tell they take pride in what they serve.
The staff is friendly and efficient, even when it gets busy during lunch hours. Everything comes out quickly, and the service always feels personal and upbeat. It’s the kind of place where they remember your order if you come often, which makes it feel really local and welcoming.
They have a great variety of sandwiches, salads, and sides — perfect for a quick lunch or takeout. The prices are fair for the quality, and you leave full and happy every time.
If you’re in Vacaville and craving a solid deli sandwich, Diggers never disappoints!

We ordered one hot and one cold sandwich. Paid $48 with drinks and chips. Both were under made. Hardly any meat at all. The “Peter porker” looked like a kids grill cheese it was so small. Unfortunately we don’t be back.

Amazing Sandwich
Absolutely incredible sandwiches, the sauce they use in the creekside chicken was absolutely amazing. Very friendly staff and very clean dining area. If you're in the downtown Vacaville area I strongly recommend this place!
Amazing sandwich. Turkey was delicious and thin cut. Tasted like a cloud. Their honey mustard is to die for. Staff is also so friendly! Place is clean and tons of parking.

5 stars for atmosphere, because classic rock was playing overhead and most of the employees were considerably younger than that era. The patio looked very relaxing. Sandwiches were very yummy. Employee appearance was poor. If I were an owner, get some pro t-shirts with your logo. Last price.....those were some expensive sandwiches. Overall, I'd still go back.

We went there to grab a quick bite for breakfast. We ordered 5 breakfast croassaints we understand they were understaffed we waited 30 mins then someone approached us to tell us they didn't have any Croissants. Are you serious? After waiting there for 30 minutes. We decided to just have them in a different bread the other staff showed up they didn't focus in our order they were working in other orders too instead of finishing ours. The sandwiches were terrible, the bread was not toasted. Coffe tasted pretty bad too. Very bad experience no coming there again.

Awesome deli with a nice patio. Enjoyed a lunch in the sun while traveling in the area for work. Loved the build your own sandwich option.
