Horrible service or maybe I should say no service. I was waiting there for 10 min, the worker kept looking at me from the back but wouldn't come take my order. I can understand if they were busy but I was the only person there. I felt like I was not welcomed. I will never step foot in that place again.

Yiiiikes. We travel through this area often. I try to give a spot at least 3 tries before leaving a review. This visit, we waited 28 minutes for a $7 pbj, a $7 grilled cheese sandwich, and a $14 vegetarian sandwich. The prices on the board are apparently not current. They also charged an extra fee for takeout, which likely would have been less aggravating if we weren't stuck there for half an hour waiting for 3 simple and horribly overpriced kids sandwiches. We went in knowing they were overpriced, but wanted to support small business. For all three visits, we had an insane wait time, the wrong order once, and inconsistent pricing. I think the business' rude and unprofessional replies to all negative experiences says a lot, too. Go literally anywhere else.

Awesome deli with a nice patio. Enjoyed a lunch in the sun while traveling in the area for work. Loved the build your own sandwich option.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible parking, building, and tables

I'm giving this 5 stars so it doesn't effect the rating of this small local business. I love small businesses so I don't want to hurt anyone's income. Staff was nice. The aesthetic was nice inside and outside. This place would probably have higher ratings if they used more quality bread. I paid 19$ for a bag of chips and my sandwich was literally the size of the sandwich w wonder bread .. like bread you make for kids sandwiches for packed lunch. Like Walmart bread. It was The smallest sandwich ever. I was pretty upset. The chicken was not fresh and grilled and had zero seasoning. So I would suggest upgrading your bread and adding more seasoning or something. Honestly idk. For the price you pay there you can get a super size sandwhich at jersey mikes. If they change those things I would return back.

I've been going to Diggers Deli for years. The food is very good quality and the sandwiches are delicious. The sandwiches may seem a bit pricier than other places but you can tell that they use quality ingredients so it makes sense.. you get what you pay for. The employees and service are nice/good but sometimes it feels like you, as the customer, are a bit of an inconvenience. Not sure if that's just when they're busy or not but it leaves a little room for improvement. The ambiance is nice, it's always clean in the restaurant with plenty of space for seating indoor and there are some seats outside as well. The main reason I'm giving 3 stars is because I often call in orders and make minor adjustments such as "no tomato, add pepperoncinis" and it is very common for them to still add tomato. I know it may not seem like a big deal but sometimes the tomatoes are runny and get all over the sandwich, which really affects the meal. It just feels like the customizations are not really paid attention to and with the higher price that I'm paying, it can really be a let down when it's not done the way I asked for it. Overall though, really like this place and will continue to visit.

We were greeted as soon as we walked through the doors, customer service was on point, staff worked fast on our sandwich and wait time was less than 5 minutes. The setting was like a farm style ambiance which is very Vacaville. As for the food, sauces and cheese are considered add ons to the sandwiches which are $1 in comparison to other sandwich shops which is already included. The sandwiches were very basic and average. There isn't a variety of size and type of bread. Overall, it's an okay spot don't expect a lot of meat and huge portions.

Customer service was very friendly and helpful. 5 Star service Hot Reuben was very small. Skimpy on meat. But Good on flavor. Ordered Solano Spa. Very tasty.

Please seem nice but I paid $14 for a 6 inch turkey sandwich! It had maybe 2 very thin slices of turkey and a very thin slice of cheese. It tasted fine but definitely not worth $14

Stopped in while charging the Tessie. Nice people working. They have boochcraft on tap along with a small selection of beers. Basic roast beef sando was good, tasted like something mom would make.

Love this locally owned deli. Food is excellent - sandwiches - soups - salads are most yummy!! Also ha beee on tap and a lot of choices of soda and juices. The staff is extraordinarily friendly and excellent! You can hang out for as long as you want without feeling pressured to leave due to other customers wanting to sit. Love the vibe here!!

This place has been a Vacaville staple for decades. Unfortunately, it has been bought and sold a few times recently. With every new owner, the place has slipped. I really miss the conversation and service from the ladies making sandwiches when it was still in the hands of the original owners. The last guy did a good job of "cleaning it up", but customer service lagged. The new owner seems to be okay hiring seemingly unkempt people for food service. Coupled with their rock like personalities and high prices, I have had my last visit to Diggers Deli.

Digger's is absolutely delicious! We ordered a breakfast sandwich, Italian, grilled cheese and a half BLT-with potato salad and a deviled egg. Initially they forgot to add the potato salad and egg, but were happy to correct the order and I'm so glad we went back-the deviled egg was so so good, and the potato salad is amazing! Awesome shop, love supporting small businesses! If you're looking for a good sandwich, this is the shop!
