A friend recommended this place so we order take out via DoorDash this eve. We were not disappointed. I'm British, my American husband lived in Europe for over twenty years so we've had some pretty amazing currys! This was the best indian since we got to the states in 2022. I ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala, mild. Spice level was JUST RIGHT! My husband ordered the Chicken Butter curry, hot. He enjoyed it a lot. We shared the Jeera rice and it had a lovely flavour! The Onion Kulcha had a nice taste. I would have a peshari naan in England but was excited to try a new option and was glad I did. The rice understandably needed re-heating but the rest was piping hot! I will definitely be ordering/eating in at this restaurant again! They just need to offer popadoms and different chutneys! ?
I wanted vegan food and this was the perfect place for it!! The food was tasty and service was fast and extremely polite!

What a wonderful surprise. Meeting up with a friend, we were going for Indian food at another location and when we arrived, it was closed. We then did a quick search and found "Essence".The food was incredible with a chicken curry and the goat curry was a very nice surprise. Service was friendly, attentive and very fast.

The cashier told me to wait 5 minutes for my order and after that I was there again after 10 minutes but They told me that your order is canceled . It’s not make any sense. Unable to give zero star !We were given a table and made to sit and while we were about to order the food, the person who takes order said that it will take at least a Minimum of 45 mins underlining the word MINIMUM several times, whatever item it may be . And he also said the maximum time taken will be anything more than one hour or even more . Have never seen such worst service in USA as well as in India .
