I have been coming here over 20 years. I don’t live close anymore but always eat here when I am in town. I have never had my order wrong, every bite is delicious, generous portions. The short wait times friendly people and comfortable atmosphere are very welcoming. I love this place! Food doesn’t last long enough for pics. lol

We stopped by Favela’s in Vacaville on Taco Tuesday, and it was a great deal all around. The tacos were fresh, the price was right, and the vibe was relaxed. My wife really enjoyed her taco salad—it was loaded, crisp, and satisfying. We also got the chips and guacamole, which were fresh and flavorful, a solid starter.
Our daughter had the quesadilla, and it was a good-sized portion for a kid’s meal—she loved it. The staff was kind, and even though it got a bit busy, we never felt ignored. Seating is casual but clean, and the food came out hot and well-prepared.
If you’re looking for affordable Mexican food with generous portions and a family-friendly environment, especially on Taco Tuesday, Favela’s is definitely worth the visit. We’ll be back for more.

This place has been around for a long time and it is a gem in Vacaville. I love that they play authentic regional Mexican music in their establishment. The food tastes amazing. We had the loaded nachos, fish tacos, and shrimp enchiladas. I would definitely get the shrimp enchiladas again. I loved it

Food has really gone downhill. Always loved it when I used to live here but now I’ve been back to both the Vacaville and Fairfield locations and they are not good anymore. Lack of flavor and spice. My old standby of a chile verde burrito today was very bland. Gonna have to find a new place when I’m in town.

Grew up eating here back in the 90s but moved up north... The owners of the restaurant would have their kids either doing their homework on weekdays and hanging out on weekends , was hard to find Trustworthy Dependable childcare, or if old enough the older kids would help out where they could in the restaurant.. as I've pasted threw time from time I always swing by and get a bite to eat here.... Brought my wife this time she said best she's had, from upper NorCal....
