I had the California cheeseburger with onion rings. It was fantastic! I came in with a large group at the last minute, and they accommodated us flawlessly. The service was so quick. I would absolutely go back if I'm ever in California again.Parking: It's a very busy area with lots.of shops nearby.

Typically stop by when in the area, usually because of a kid's sporting event. Sometimes for food and ice cream, other times for ice cream to go. Submitting this review based on my recent visit which was for a double scoop to go. Service was fast and friendly, but the main reason for the review is I noticed the ice cream to be creamier than usual. Ice cream has always been good here, but during this visit it seemed even better than before. I had two flavors, and it was noticable with both.
The place was a bit dirty, we went for ice cream, I stood next to the garbage can that was dripping chocolate sauce and crowded quarters I got sauce on my jeans. Not organized service. Not a very pleasant cashier. Sad.

The food is good, especially the ice cream. The service is decent and the ambiance is very nice. However, the prices are too high for me to justify going there very often.

ice cream, milk shakes, and sides were great! love the diner feel of the restaurant and the servers are quick and very nice! the crab melts were definitely a let down... $25 for a mediocre crab sandwich that was more bread than filling. nothing special about the crab salad mixture it was bland and honestly just lacking enough.

Fentons is my favorite ice cream parlor of all time! I grew up eating this ice cream, and always make a point of going there whenever I'm in the Bay Area. Swiss Milk Chocolate is my favorite flavor, though you really can't go wrong with any of them.
If you love ice cream, toppings, nuts, and whipped cream, this is your place. Also, if you can think of a flavor for ice cream, they probably have it. An appetite is a must.
