Came here on 11/15/2025 at about 5pm. Restaurant staff made excessive noises. Loud banging at random thoughout experience. It took about half an hour of waiting for orange chicken but received an apology and a discount on meal from young man working behind the counter. The young skinny Chinese girl waitress was confrontational when asked why the food took a long time as if I had no right to question it. Could have taken longer if I didnt complain. Staff should communicate to customers for long wait times and not leave them guessing. The shrimp didnt taste fresh.
This place was amazing! Staff was super friendly and the food was delicious 🤤 servings were big so be prepared to take home leftovers lol

nov. 3, 2025, this is a nice lil joint. i ordered the brown sugar rice cake and XLB. xlb, xiao long bao or pork soup dumps, were the main dish i go for in any typical dumpling joints. server said he hates the shape, so i thought that was funny. xlb was normal. and the brown sugar rice cake great to me, the first aroma of the dish what go me. good crunch outside layer, delicate chewy on the inside layer. inside the joint was nice and cozy. overall, it was a coo place to get if youre only for the soup dumplings

I saw cheese rangoons and couldn't resist stopping by. I was pleasantly surprised by the authenticity in the flavors. It's amazing how light all the food we ordered turned out to be, especially for Chinese cuisine. Despite being a packed house the servers were able to seat us within 10 minutes. The staff was friendly and personable. All of our food came out within 15 minutes. Absolutely loved all the small touches like the orange slices and small candy after dining. Don’t sleep on the chili wontons! Cant wait to come back!

The food was great and the service staff were very attentive. I ordered the Takoyaki, a bowl of Wonton Soup and pork dumplings, everything was excellent. Glad I tried the food here. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

My son wanted to try the new dumpling house in Vacaville for dinner last Sunday evening (just before 7pm), so we came in to get some take out. Don’t let the Dumpling House name fool you, they also offer other Chinese dishes as well as Ramen/Udon Noodle Soups as well. They are located on the Walmart side of Helen Power Drive right next to Angry Chickz.
We were greeted right away when we walked in. There is not too many tables, so if you get there at a busy time, expect a wait for a table if dining in. Decor is decent and overall looks clean. The staff all seemed really nice as I was observing them while waiting for our take out order. They all seemed to be able to speak mandarin.
Food:
- Pan Fried Pork Buns (4 pcs - $12.95): a little pricey for 4 pcs especially since there is minimal filling (see picture). It inside of the bun was juicy as I bit into it, but overall lacked flavor.
- Taro Buns (4pcs - $5.95): the bun and the filling only had mild taro flavor and was not very sweet.
- Walnut Shrimp ($15.95): the kids found this to be the best dish out of our order, but I have had better. They provided the mayonnaise based sauce on the side for you to mix with the shrimp later so it doesn’t loose its crispiness.
- Sesame Chicken ($15.95): flavor was good, but the sauce clumped up into molasses consistency as the dish cooled.
- Fried Pork Dumplings (8pcs - $12.95): basically pan fried pot stickers, decent flavor, but I did not feel it was worth the price.
- Pork and Leek Dumplings (8 pcs - $10.95): decent flavor and the I can see/taste the leeks.
- They included only 1 container of dumpling sauce (1/3 filled) and 1 container of chili sauce (1/3 filled) which I thought was a little chintzy.
They are only on their soft opening, so I hope the quality of the food and portion size improves in time. I would consider coming back to try their other items, but will probably wait a few months to let them get things ramped up and food to be more consistent.

The crispy pork and Tonkatsu ramen were amazing. However for the actual broth of the ramen it had 0 flavor. I’m assuming this is just because the soft opening and look forward to trying it again!

I thought I would try a new place with my girlfriend, read the reviews and only one that wasn't great. We ordered a few appetizers and two entrees. I will say the dumplings were good but nothing special. As for our entrees, we couldn't eat them. At one point we switched dishes to see if we liked the other entree. Neither of us did. We paid and left hungry and disappointed. The 5 star reviews definitely got something other than the ramen and dry tossed rice noodle with brisket. I realize they just opened but I would expect that to only effect service.

We were excited to try out this new place as it has been showing up nonstop on our FB feed and everyone been raving about it. However, we weren’t impressed by this visit. Food was ok, average 3 stars, as we understand it is their soft opening. We are reducing a star because the walnut shrimp we received was missing the glazed sauce - basically got fried shrimp with walnuts.
We ordered take out and these review are based on our food preferences:
• Beef Roll - flavorful and meaty, but I’m not a fan of raw onion and there was a lot
• Crispy Spicy Chicken - definitely has a kick! but chicken was on the dried side
• Wonton with Chili Oil - wonton skin was perfectly thin and held its shape, but I prefer meat filing to be bouncy and tender, these weren’t
• Walnut Shrimp - missing the sauce, the shrimp itself was decently snappy and sweet
• Offers military discount
