Walked in at 2:40 pm Today ( Saturday 9-23-23) there was nobody in the front , out came a older Asian lady ( Who was working in the back I saw her when I walked in ) I said Hi , and She barely said Hi back ! lol . She was extremely rude , I asked about the jelly donuts , and the btchh got short with me ! I really felt like she was PREJUDICE, I'm a Beautiful Black Woman , buying a donut in Vacaville. Lol . Anyway I still bought the jelly donut , because I've been eyeing this place , and I was going to Walmart , which is in the same shopping center . the donut was stale ! It was a nice size with a large amount of jelly, But STALE ! How is a donut stale at 2:00 in the afternoon ? Stay away from this place ....The owner is a idiot , and they sale STALE DONUTS !

First, the positive. The donuts weren't bad. Sprinkles were flavorful (which is rare). The bacon croissant had good flavor but was microwaved, leaving it soggy. The place is very dingy and seems run down. It does have seating, which is nice. Will we go back?? Afraid not.

They have my order ready for me and she was nice to me and I will tell everyone to go there and get the ham and cheese croissant and donuts

Seems Fishy

This is hard for me to do because the lady is so nice. However the young man with long hair is extremely rude. He clearly from his attitude does not want to be there. He doesn’t greet you properly, he can’t hear you because he always has ear phones in his ear, he never smiles. If you pay attention he’s on his phone wearing gloves and uses the same gloves to grab your donut order. This is unfortunate, there is nothing happy about this individual and is some of the worst customer service I have ever seen. I hope his customer service doesn’t discourage customers from coming back.

Second and last time I will be coming here!! Came here a week ago and an older lady (possibly the owner) had helped me and seemed nice at that time. I only bought 2 donuts that time and it wasn't too busy when I went, it being a week day. When I went for the second time today, the same lady had helped me. This time I had a bigger order. As I was telling her which ones I wanted, I felt like she was rushing me, since more customers started to come in and line grew longer. One of the donuts I asked for was the cake donut, which I didn't know which one it was since it's a donut I was getting for someone. She yelled and asked me which one, since there are 3 flavors. As I was trying to decide which one I felt rushed and she tapped the tongs against the donut pan as if rushing me to make a decision. There's no reason for this disrespect. This place should be called Rude Donuts, not Happy Donuts!!! I'm big on customer service, being that I worked in the restaurant and retail business for many years! I will no longer be coming back. There are plenty of donut spots in Vacaville. I'm not gonna support a business that has workers that are rude as hell and yell at you! Looks like I'll be trying another donut spot in Vacaville!

Fresh donuts and very reasonably priced. The people who work there are lovely and I feel good about giving them my money in exchange for heavenly calories. Their croissant breakfast sandwiches have gotten me through some rough times where hanger was on the horizon. I love coming here even though my waist hates it haha

First and last time coming to this place. It's called happy donut but the guy who was working was so unpleasant and had an unnecessary attitude.

My favorite donut shop in town. Ownership has changed hands a bunch in the last 20 years, but has always been the best in town. The only gripe about the current ownership is that on some days the selection gets bought up quick, so either get there early or come when they have made a new batch.

I tried the maple twist, old fashioned, and cake donut. All were delicious. I did come near closing, so not much variety. Get there early. The owner was super nice and engaging. She was telling me there was a line in the morning. I'll have to stop by early to get the good stuff ( French Cruellers and sprinkle donuts. ). The donuts were good, but the owner was super nice. I've gone to the other donut spot across the overpass- I enjoy those too, but I appreciated the friendly engagement at Happy Donuts. It's a family owned business. Try them out.

I had a very positive experience at this donut shop. The staff were very welcoming to me and my daughter, even giving her a donut hole which was a very nice gesture. I was pleased to find that they offer a great variety of donuts, breakfast sandwiches, and drinks, all of which are well priced. In fact, I was so impressed with the shop that I plan to make it my go-to donut spot in the area. Highly recommended!

Me and another customer arrived just before 9am on Monday. Hours say it’s open but it was closed.
