Best hawaiian bbq in the area, i will happily make the 20min drive to come here specifically. The food is amazing an we always get extra for left overs.

Was always curious how this place was considering there are a handful of similar places around and was hoping for it to be better. Unfortunately, as much as I love to support my island family, I was disappointed.

I ordered loco moco and chicken bbq plates - see photos. The loco moco meat (hamburger patty) is bland. Maybe that’s why they offered “extra gravy” which only opted for regular. Next, the BBQ chicken was also somewhat bland. Although, on the plus side, it wasn’t burnt or tuff. Both entrees are served on top of cabbage, carrot slices and broccoli. To which for me is somewhat unusual for an island plate. And of course, the mac salad. Which would’ve been great had it not been watery.

As for the place, it is small with maybe two tables. Looks like they do lots of catering dishes. I guess this is why it is called “Express”.

I used to love this Hawaiian Bbq spot but recently I had a very negative experience with the service. I ended up not even ordering because that’s how rude the person (I assume to be a man) was taking my order… over the phone at that. The service here has never been great but normally it’s at least decent. I’m not sure if they’ve recently hired because judging from reviews in the last couple of months service is a common complaint. To be a Hawaiian Bbq restaurant in Vacaville, it is good BUT not good enough to put up with the poor customer service. I will not be spending my money here any more. Customer Service training advised.

Got my food from this place and haven't eaten here in awhile. When I walked in and said hi wit a smile, they just looked at me and the lady standing on the side who was playing on her phone just looked at me and then turned her back to me. Very rude service and dirty looks for what you don't like real people from hawaii getting food from your establishment? I wasn't dressed inappropriate and I sure didn't have a sign on my head that said give me stink eye! The mac salad was runny as well. Needless to say I'll be looking for a better Hawaiian food place. ?

The best Hawaiian bbq around. Meat isn't full of gristle like other places. Veggies super fresh. The lemonades and teas are reason enough to come here! So tasty!

? Top 5 in all my selections top 1 in hawaiin cuisine. This is the only place that does it right with a lot of flavors. You can order online for pick up. I usually order bb beef, loco moco, and spam musubi. I have yet to try the expansive menu including their boba and smoothies. ???

This was my first time in and I wanted something to eat and got food poisoning not sure if it was the meat or the macaroni salad the macaroni was nasty couldn't go back to complain to busy getting
