My first time here. This place is really cute and well decorated. The service here is great staff is friendly. My husband got their Thai Tea with honey boba which was good. However, I got Passion Fruit 101 it was watered down.

Do not get the Taro milk tea here. Desert Cafe is my usual place, and I should have gone there because it’s amazing.
I ordered a Taro Milk tea here and they gave me milk, with boba pearls. There was absolutely not one drop of taro flavor. Besides the fact that the drink was just a pure white color, there was no taste except the sugary boba pearls at the bottom and milk. I’m actually convinced the person making it did it on purpose because we came in close to close time. Don’t waste your money. Desert Cafe is the best Taro in the east bay.
The staff here is rude and will flat out not give you the drink u order.

First time at Milk Tea Lab and I will be coming back! I got the Ube Yama and Thai Tea boba. This was my first time trying the Ube and I loved it. It’s more slushy with boba but so good! I can’t leave a milk tea store without trying their Thai tea. Also so good ?? I definitely will be coming back. The Ube was such a pretty purple but I forgot to get a picture before I drank it all ?

Service incredible here. Unprompted he offered me to try the difference between sweetness levels and the topping before the drink was made. He also gave me a personal recommendation which is always a win! I went with the peach 101 which includes honey boba and substituted mango stars for the lychee jelly and 50% sweet per his recommendation. Honey pearls were made very well, chewy and well cooked. I haven't had bubble tea for $4.50 since I was on the east coast. And this was well worth it for the service alone! Pay with cash to avoid service fee, thanks so much, I'll be back!!
