The atmosphere of this place is pretty good for a date. The service could have been better, though, and the food was good.
This was our first time to this restaurant that came recommended by good friends. We were seated as soon as we walked in. Unfortunately, we waited a really long time (probably close to 15 minutes) to order and then had to wait another 12-15 minutes for our drinks to arrive.
The food came before our drinks, though we had to flag someone down for napkins, silverware, and plates to eat our appetizers since they have other staff serving the food to your table.
Presentation of the heirloom tomato caprese salad was beautiful and delicious.
I ordered the lasagna, which I would definitely order again ($26) and was large enough that I took some to-go. My boyfriend wished he ordered this!
My boyfriend wasn't thrilled with the chicken parmigiana and spaghetti. The chicken was just okay - a little dry and not too much flavor, and the spaghetti tasted as if it were reheated (it wasnt very good, neither of us ate it after a few tastes). This meal came with a choice of soup or salad - the minestrone was really, really good. I'm so very surprised this main dish (which wasn't cheap, $34) was very mediocre/not good.
We were never offered more drinks or desserts. We ended up going to another place for dessert.
Our server was nice but did disappoint in the experience, and was absent our entire dinner without asking how it was but to bring us the check.
All-in-all, we would try this place one more time to see if it was just an 'off' experience.
We do not recommend the chicken parmigiana as it says we recommend. ?

It was a pretty busy night when I went in so I ended up waiting awhile for my food. I got the house salad and cheese ravioli. The raviolis themselves were delicious but the sauce was lacking flavor. Salad was average. Good amount of food for the price though.

The newly renovated bar lounge area looks sporty and trendy. Nice for a date or friends hang out. I didn't have any alcohol. But the lemonade tasted powdered with tap water.
The restaurant area had rugs on the walls. A huge black mirror. Booths and tables spread around.
A kids' pizza birthday party was finishing up outside in a hot outdoor patio area.
CHEF OR WAITRESS? Staff didn't appear to know what to do, or was the waitress the chef in disguise? The wait staff acted like we were inconveniencing them. Waitress couldn't find the pepper.
NO BREAD FOR YOU! I never got my bread.

I got 1 thin Steak & The Other looked & Tasted Like Just Crusted Cheese & Flour. Fries Small & Greasy..... $23. Dollars Down The Drain. One Steak was inedible. Paying more getting less at Pietro's # 1. I've had the Lunch Calamari several times The past year . Today's meal was pitiful.... J.

I convinced my wife to go to Pietro's #1 and all I can say is she was extremely satisfied with this traditional Italian restaurant.
There's something to be said about a limited menu because everthing we ordered was awesome!
Our server Eddie was awesome too. We screwed up ordering a togo food for my children and Toni the manager handled our screw up beautifully. THEY OBVIOUSLY ARE CONCERNED ABOUR THEIR CUSTOMER'S SATISFACTION.
The wine list is awesome and the food is consistently great. The only negative is they are so busy and with the labor force compromised, they don't have enough help to handle the volume of customers. Every restaurant is experiencing the same challenges.

Food was excellent and came out so fast! Server was on top of things, and was friendly. Unfortunately with the dining room being one open space, there was a party that was incredibly loud. We had a hard time talking, so the environment gets some points taken off.
Parking: Parking lot across the street, but it is 2 hour parking.
Family dining at its best. We had a birthday meal here for four people and the food was good but very large portions! We ended up taking more than half of our meals home. At one point we couldn't hear ourselves talk because the next table had a lot of noisy visitors drop by their table. Very warm as well. Bathrooms are clean. Service was good til about half way through and then we were out of forks and water for dessert.
