I was so happy to find a restaurant on short notice that could accommodate my party of 8. The food was great. Portions were huge. The minestrone soup was yummy. Salads looked really fresh. I did have one gluten sensitive person in my party. There were very limited options for gluten free. Everyone was happy with their choices. It was a bit too loud at first but we were seated in the same room as another even larger birthday party. Probably wouldn't have been an issue at a more intimate table but we were a large group spread out at a large table. The service was great. Overall it was a fantastic experience. I would go again, but probably not bring anyone with a gluten sensitivity.

The service was great first of all- the server was so nice and attentive to my family: checking up on us throughout the meal, even getting boxes and bags at the end without us even asking. The food was delicious too, it came out in a quick time as well- the pizza, meatball sandwich, and pasta was definitely worth the hype! The place had a great atmosphere too- pretty, not too loud, great for family gatherings. 11/10, definitely coming back :-)

Everything was really good. We had the margarita pizza. It was very thick though and the style should be more thin, but taste wise no complaints. Just preference on pizza.

Paper in my food. Yuk! Usually it's good food. Service was good. I had eaten too much of the appetizers & salad, so I took my dinner home. I just ate it and there was paper in my food. It looked like receipt paper, but I'm hoping it was parchment paper separating previous frozen chicken ... either way Yuk!

Had high hopes for the pizza here. It was an extreme disappointment. Took forever yet when it came to table it was lukewarm at best. Tasteless and boring. Ordered the vegetarian because I like artichokes. Seemed like they dumped a can on top of the pizza after it came out of oven. Won't go back.

Food was very good and our waiter was excellent. However, one dish (chicken parmigiano with pasta and white sauce was dry). The open room with high ceiling makes for a very noisy eating experience. My wife and I will return, but on a less busy evening.

My son and daughter in law took me out of for lunch for my birthday on Sunday. We had pizza and family salad. The service was excellent The ambience was great The new bar is beautiful. We sat in the main dining room. I have been to Pietro's number 2 many times in the 43 years I have lived in Vacaville. It's truly one of the finest restaurants You must try it you will be happy you did

Love this place! A bit on the pricier side but with the portion sizes, quality, and it being a family owned business, it’s well worth it. My husband and I came here for our anniversary and ordered 2 pasta dishes with minestrone and a garden salad. Everything was really good, well seasoned and fresh, but I especially enjoyed the minestrone. They also have gluten free penne and a small 12 inch gf pizza crust! Not on the menu, ask the server.
