I came in for a lunch date with my 10.5-month-old and had such a great experience at Que Onda Tacobar in Vacaville! We ordered 3 chicken tacos with a side of rice and a wet burrito to go — everything was delicious.
One of the gentlemen there, who I believe may be the owner, personally helped prepare my tacos with handmade tortillas and was incredibly kind and attentive. I noticed he was making sure every guest in the restaurant was taken care of, which made the atmosphere feel very welcoming and cared for.
I overheard him chatting with another table and learned that they’re family-owned, which made me appreciate it even more. Funny enough, my first time trying Que Onda was actually in Vallejo — so when I saw one opened in Vacaville, I was super excited to have one much closer to home.
Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area — great food, great people, and a family-friendly vibe!

Started out a little rough with not understanding the food we ordered off the menu but got a little better after we got some of the food. The order didn’t get put in for the rest or something and the rest of our order came out about 30 mins later. Food was pretty good just like always flavor was a hit just the service was a little rough this time around. We were waiting for boxes for our food and they never came. The lady we asked helped others with their food and drinks but left us wondering what was going on. We just left at that point.

Quite possibly the best veggie burrito I have ever had. One burrito was enough to leave two people well saited. We spotted the restaurant while charging our car across the road and I suspect this will be our go to charging/lunch stop in the future.
