Great food, our preferred Raman place, we come all the way from Fairfield due to their variety and the chicken karage.

I’ve been here four or five times. The food has always been spot on. Delicious and served super quickly. Everyone seems really nice and the food is exceptional.

Most restaurants here seem like a deli in the food court, serving international fast food, but they were pretty popular. In fact, we were quite impressed by the quality of Ramen 101. The tonkotsu broth tasted right, though a little too spicy. The seafood ramen wasn't traditional, but it tasted good. So I would say the ramens were in general safe to order. However, the side dishes like agetofu was quite disappointing. It was more like plain fried tofu than the very flavorful tofu in Japanese restaurants. The menu seems to be a mix of Hawaiian and Japanese dishes. Overall, it's a pretty good option for a quick meal.

The food was ok but not as flavorful as other restaurants. The flavor of the broth was good but the meat and the other ingredients no so great.

Very good Ramen for the United States. Pleasantly surprised with the flavor and quality of the pork rib ramen. The service from Milo was excellent. Thank you
It's hard to say whether it's pre-prepared food.. The noodles are very raw, very salty, the pork chops are hard!
super disappointing, look at the picture is what we have left…
I ordered for take out. The ramen was really good and the price was not too expensive. I would come back.

Located in the Nut Tree Shopping Center, Ramen 101 is a nice place to get a bowl of ramen. Decent service today for takeout. It was only 4pm on a Friday, so it was not busy. There are plenty of empty tables for dining in, but can get busy around dinner time. We got Tonkatsu Ramen and Black Garlic Ramen that were both tasty. The roasted egg is made well. There could be more ingredients in the ramen, but you can opt to add more ingredients for a cost. There is better ramen 20-30 minutes away, but if you are in Vacaville and want to eat some ramen, then try it out. They do offer other items such as appetizers (starters) and rice plates, so if you are not in the mood for ramen, you can order something else. Today’s experience and flavor of the food is a solid 4.5/5.
Both the Tonkatsu and Shoyu ramen broth and noodles were amazing. The pork and egg topics were cold. Service was great. Overall a great choice for a roadside stop

You pay full amount for soup and you will receive half of what you are supposed to get. Half contents of soup, half broth, half extra noodles for 40 bucks. Will go back once I hear this place stop being so cheap with the food they give you.

Good ramen. Not authentic Japanese cuisine but it's delicious. The employees are kind.
I had the Tonkotsu ramen and shrimo tempura. Both were good choices. If you like spicy, ask for them to make your ramen extra spicy as regular spicy might not be enough.
By the way, you have to order and pay at the front counter before sitting down.
