Very authentic Thai food. There are very family friendly with mid flavor for youngems. We went this week as it was 101F outside, the dining room was also a bit on the warm side. As we drive in from San Jose, we made it a worthwhile stop going to Sac or Napa.
We got the garlic noodles, crispy chicken fried rice and the pad see ew with tofu. The food was all delicious. The pad see ew was hearty and the noodles let you feel like you were eating someone instead of just slurping. The crispy chicken was extremely tasty and added flavor to the very basic fried rice. The garlic noodles were an amazing set of top ramen noodles without the soup.
I live in San Francisco and I would drive all the way back to Vacaville just to eat the green curry at Rice Barn. Truly the best curry I have ever had! I stop here on every road trip to and from Tahoe and dream about the next chance I’ll have to go back.
