Great place to grab a glass and a snack. Nice environment and friendly staff. Great service. A lovely addition to Downtown Vacaville!

It was about 2:02pm they were barely opening. Taking down chairs and there was a rowdy party of 5 or so waiting to sit. I love the design of the place. The furniture is unique and pleasing to the eye. They were ready to serve me a drink already. I declined & chose the cappuccino. It was fair. I loved the tea cup vibe. Oh my goodness the clam chowder is amazing. It hits the spot for sure! Wanted cheesecake but they were fresh out (someone else came in to order it too). Kinda disappointed about that but I’ll be back to try again! I hope they weren’t upset because I used a gift card.

Was excited to try this place out as it was suggested by a server at a restaurant across the street. Travelled in from out of town to meet a dear friend after nearly 20 years. He asked some wine questions as he's not a seasoned taster and the owner seemed annoyed and was completely unhelpful. Definitely seems like a place that caters more to locals and not to travelers from out of town. She gave us our wine and never came back to check in, but chatted up everyone else in the place. Wine list is up on a board behind the bar that is very hard to read and not listed on the menu at the table. We wanted to order another glass and an appetizer but decided to go somewhere more welcoming. Not recommended and won't be back.

Just tried to go here for lunch and they are only serving drinks...claimed son had to pick up kids and no other cook available ? I was raised in the Family Business and THAT IS BAD BUSINESS - you have someone else to take their place!! And been outside waiting for Griend to go somewhere else and the Son with an emergency hasn't left for the last 12 mins....they won't get my money.

Great place to try different wines and champagnes! Poke tacos were yummy but not a fan of the shrimp taco...clam chowder delicious and the little flatbreads great! Flight of Mummy champagne hit the spot! Always friendly-wish the barstools were a little more comfy but one of my favorite spots!

OMGoodness!!!!!! There are not enough words to express how badly Vacaville needed an establishment like The Main Grape downtown. Thank you for coming up with the idea and a new "spot"! One cannot beat nor compete with the wine and beer selections, the phenomenal service, nor its quant ambiance. Though small, it all works so well together. Once we stepped inside and Kristine immediately made us feel as though we have known each other since nursery school. She answered all our questions and actually made some pretty amazing suggestions. We were not disappointed. It's like she got inside our heads and really knew us. Generally when I have out of town guests we do the whole Napa thing. Not anymore, I'm happy to say The Main Grape is in the town in which I live, close to my house, and is comfy. The Main Grape also lets you rent out part of or the entire place for your celebratory events. I see tons of fun with that. Vacaville has needed (for quite a long while) to re-do downtown to entice visitors. The Main Grape is truly a remarkable start. I'll be coming alone, bringing friends, and gifting gift cards. Thank you! Come on, come all - The Main Grape is the place to be.

Our group of four was lucky to get the couches in back, very comfortable. Service was great, selection of wine/drinks was great, little plates were great. The bacon-wrapped chicken with yummy BBQ sauce - oh, yeah!! We will definitely be back. (really enjoy the sense of humor in their decorating choices too!)

Friendly service, cool location. One of the bartenders was getting her drink on heavy, which made her pretty inattentive to folks waiting to order. Mussels were great, but more bread should be offered to soak up the sauce. Charging extra for 3 small pieces of toast is a little wild.

A small, expensive wine (and beer) bar that used to be a barber shop. We went primarily to support some friends' music group. A small pour glass of wine starts at $10 (higher depending on the wine). I didn't try any of their likewise pricey appetizers or related fare, and I'm not fond of beer, so passed on that as well. Servers were friendly & helpful and weren't pushing us to leave with our minimal purchase. Dollars to donuts (metaphorically), not someplace I'd recommend.

Went here to have a few drinks and a bit to eat. Had the Coppola Prosecco Rose. You have to try this. It was very good and refreshing. The Italian flatbread pizza was ok but the chili was to die for. So yummy. Service this evening was okay but the chili made up for the service. The place is very cute with a nice little bar and the door rolls up in front so you can listen to the live music when the have it out front across the street. I definitely we go back again but not anytime soon.
