Tugboat Fish & Chips | Vacaville

It is hard,at least for me to find good fish and chips these days but Tugboat does a pretty good job.The fries are pretty good but the fish to me is good and I'm not a seafood eater.Tugboat fish and chips is the only fish that I eat.Someone who eats a lot of fish may know of a better place but for an occasional fish eater like myself,Tugboat suits me just fine.The owner is pretty nice as well.

Skimpy on Condiment sauce for food. People like sauce with their fish and hush puppies. Needed to cut greasy, fried food.
The fish was small but tasty. The service is terrible and rude. Tarter, Cocktail sauce and malted vinager EXTRA CHARGE.
Advice: be kind to your few customers. Times are tough for everyone. People prefer friendly service or will go to other restaurants.

Fish is a staple meal for me and it has to be good fish! 5 across the board, why? They continuously meet/exceed my requirements for said staple meal, 3 piece fish dinner w/steamed rice is my go to.

I LOVE the prawns and their tartar sauce is GREAT! They need to upgrade their fries tho! But until they do, order an extra tartar sauce and dip those fries in it! You'll Thank Me Later!!!
