Driving through Vacaville and the Twin wants dim sum. We decided to stop here and order to go. Dude says 20 minutes and almost an hour later we finally get our food. We did order more than usual for two of us but I found the price to be higher than I'm used to. Food hit the spot but wasn't spectacular. The wait for the food was a turn off. Taro puffs were amazing though. I thought they'd be the fried taro with meat inside. But it's a subtly sweet dessert. Delicious! I'd come back for that.

I love their food. My fav is the spicy tofu and egg rolls. I can't wait until they reopen. It's killing me! I can't find anything that matches this place. IT'S SO GOOD!

Something is not the same. Different kitchen crew? Cold chicken served with salty, flavorless and greasy ingredients. The dumplings and vegetables were good. Expensive for the quality of food presented. Not a good experience this time around.

I stopped in before a movie one day and had an order of the soup dumplings and scallion pancake. I didn't have very high expectations considering I was the only person in the place. They both were good, not great and nothing to brag about but very affordable and tasty. The bottom of each soup dumpling stuck to the aluminum wrapper they bring them out in. I would stop in again to try out a few more items before another movie. The service was good, but again, I was the only one there. I hope to go back and be able to give them a slightly better rating. But if I want real soup dumplings, I will head to S.F.

3.5 Stars Passed by here from our Lake Tahoe Weekend trip. The area looked sketchy but we wanted to give it a try ad yelp gave it good ratings. The inside of the restaurant is clean enough and the waiter was polite and nice. We ordered chow mien, eggplant with egg, salt and pepper chicken wings(super delish), and salt and pepper pork. All were very good. However, the service too long. There was only 1 waiter and he couldn't keep up with maybe 25people of 6-7 tables. Everyone was waiting to flag him down to order or pay for their bill. Felt bad for the dude.

Been coming here for years actually. A really unique place and always has something new. If I could suggest a few things, bring back the TV's with the sports. Also maybe display alcohol a little more openly. Try to offer some specialty drinks. The place has lots of room and is comfortable (please don't go cheap on running the AC guys), and the menu is awesome. It's tucked away and hard to tell if it's actually open, maybe a signage update? I'd like to see some fliers or advertisements go out. I know this place is a big hit and that's why its one of my favorites. As for the food, non-greasy, and you don't leave smelling like MSG. That's a big one for me. The food is fresh! Very clean, very well plated. Give it a shot.

Do not come here for dinner food. My god. The orange chicken was slimy and neon orange. It wasn't fresh at all. The sweet and sour pork was just ok. The crab Rangoon's were not good either. The pork fried rice was mediocre at best. Very very unhappy with my dinner here. Will not be returning for dim sum or dinner again.

Service is slow took an hour to get out food. If you have the patience to wait This might be the place for you. We got our soup and it was at room temperature. Water is from the faucet probably will get you sick. Had to cancel the rest of our food due to the delay! This should get zero stars!!!!!

Decent food! The service was ok! It's definitely hard to find a place like this restaurant in vacaville. I'm thankful there's another option besides panda :)

Steer clear of this place!! My husband and I have been here probably 10 times in the past two years. And all o can say is bring the old owners back!! They actually cared about there customers. Our last time having dinner here we walked in the door and after waiting a few minutes we're finally seated. (There was no one in the restaurant and the "server" was sotting up front at the cash register area. We were not greeted. After taking our order we noticed how disgusting this place was. It looked like it hadn't been swept in weeks and the chili paste on the table looked so old that the spoon was corroded. If they have this out for he public to see imagine how it looks in the kitchen. The entire time that we were at the restaurant the "server" sat in the front. Did not refill my drink or ask us how anything tasted. When we left he did not even say have a good day. I am a restaurant manager and I have been for years. All I can say is don't waste your time and money here. We will not be back.

This review is based off of the service I went in and order food Togo. I asked the order taker how long would it be for the order? He said that the beef broccoli and chow mein would take about 15 Minutes. I walked back in after 18 Minutes and the food still wasn't ready I noticed that people who walked in and ordered after me had already received there food and were eating. I asked if my order was almost ready he told me it would be another 8 minutes because the kitchen was busy which didn't make sense to me. So I cancelled my order after waiting 40 Minutes. I won't be returning.

My parents needed to run some errands in the area so I tagged along and we decided to stop in here for some dim sum. The place is in a small odd parking lot next to a Japanese restaurant and a nail place. The inside is very bare and simple with some decoration. There's plenty of space and they can accommodate bigger parties. We were immediately greeted and it seemed like there was only one person working the front. There were plenty of dim sum options but i didn't want to eat too much and I actually wanted to try their lunch plates as well so we only ordered the Shrimp Dumplings, potstickers, sesame balls and the salt & pepper squid. We each ordered the lunch plates, I got the beef broccoli, Dad got the mixed vegetables with beef and mom got the Beef Snow Peas, i think. Service was very quick, we did get our lunch plates before the dim sum, which was unexpected but it wasn't a big deal. The food was delicious! It all tasted very fresh and authentic. The portions were actually plenty for lunch. I ended up ordering some chow mein for later and we took most of it home. I'd definitely recommend this place if you want really good Chinese food. Yes, the decor wasn't amazing, the location is kind of weird but service and food was so much better than expected. The value was great too. We had 4 dim sum, 1 entree, 2 drinks and 3 lunch plates for about $50. We'll be back for sure.

Shrimp & pork shumai Shanghai dumplings Chicken feet Pork buns Affordable dimsum ($3.xx per) options. Not your typical dimsum where you choose off the cart. You order it off of a menu. A bit on the bland side compared to the other dishes we ordered. Salt & pepper chicken wings (5 pieces) $5.xx Flavorful & delicious Beef chow fun & garlic string beans ordered off their regular menu. About $8.xx each. Chow fun is typical & safe. So is the string beans, but I loved it! Lots of garlic flavor! Everything came out pretty quick despite how piping hot it was. Be careful & blow your food or you'll burn your mouth! I loved the food but I don't think I'll come in the warmer weather. No a/c! We almost passed out while eating.
