Vista Grill At La Contenta

I hate leaving bad reviews, but when it's a repetitive issue, I feel like it needs attention. My family and I have gone here on multiple occasions now trying to give this place another go, but we leave frustrated every single time. We had breakfast today, and while there were some very tasty things, others were very lackluster. I ordered my eggs over medium and received one egg that was definitely hard, and the other was very close to it. My soda was also completely flat. Another person with me ordered a steak and eggs breakfast with her steak medium rare, and it came closer to blue. Had these things been the only issues I wouldn't be writing a review however it took at least 10-15 minutes for someone to approach our table to take a drink order then 15 minutes later when we still hadn't received our drinks i asked another server to please remind our server that we hadn't received our drinks yet still. 35 minutes after we were seated was when we received our drinks. It also took 35 minutes to receive our food. Our server was very sweet but severely lacked the training to give proper attention to her tables. With all of that being said, there was an automatic 20% gratuity added onto the 2 checks at the table because we were a party of six. While we are typically happy to do a 20% + tip, unfortunately, with the quality of service, we just didn't feel it was appropriate. We observed multiple other tables having similar issues as well. I hope that this place comes back around one day, we would love to have more options in our little town, but as for now, we aren't interested in coming back. * There seems to be 2 google pages for the restaurant so both are receiving the same review as they are obviously the same business

We are regulars for breakfast. Always just like we want it and service is awesome. It gets a bit noisy when crowded.

I had the avocado toast with bacon. Avocado, spinach, feta, grape tomatoes, bacon, 2 eggs (I had over easy), everything bagel seasoning and balsamic drizzle. Yum!!Lauren, I believe she is the manager, was very nice and helped me decide between avocado toast and Eggs Benedict; which she said was also very good just a bigger portion. I want incredibly hungry. Thank you!

We had dinner at the Vista Grill at La Contenta Friday evening, July 29, 2022. We thought the food was good. I had the tri-tip nachos, and my wife had the cajun shrimp salad. Although the shrimp was a little salty, she liked the addition of red and green peppers, jack and cheddar cheese, and crispy tortilla strips. We will be back.

Stopped in with a friend for a quick drink and stayed for a second. The gal behind the bar knows what's she's doing. Our bloody Mary's were amazing. We decided we needed a snack too and the specialty fries were memorable and crave worthy, though not ideal for my waistline.
