This place is great. The food is yummy, they provide generous portions, crunchy noodles when you sit and the restaurant is very clean. They also have a large dining room so even if it's busy, it doesn't feel like you're in someone else's conversation.I've been twice now and pleased both times.

I was sad when Chengdu closed. I primarily eat Sichuan Cuisine. I decided to finally give them a try. I don’t trust the authenticity of SFV Chinese (Northridge is good but too far).I was pleasantly surprised. I’m glad to have a Chinese restaurant within walking distance if I need a quick balanced meal.Prices were reasonable. Food was fresh, hot, and not too oily. Good flavor. There was plenty of American Chinese dishes to choose from—a handful of less popular Chinese dishes. I prefer mama, fragrant, and pungent dishes and their sauces weren’t too sweet.I ordered Kung Pao chicken, hot and sour soup with egg roll. The soup wasn’t that good but everything else was delicious.S/N: I don’t like animals in restaurants! I almost didn’t order food because there was a mangy dog with a dirty backside at the counter. I walked in and there was a big black object hanging from the dog’s butt. The dog looked like it hadn’t had a bath in years! And the dog was rubbing its butt and fur on the furniture. I was disappointed and disgusted. I don’t blame the business owner but I wish people would STOP bringing animals in restaurants and grocery stores. It’s gross. Business owners can’t do anything about it—-they can be sued for discrimination and ADA.

I was really sad when chengdu closed because I had been going there for years and loved it. I gave this spot a try a few months ago and while I do still miss it, at least this is still better than any other Chinese place I’ve found in the valley. Chengdu had a bigger menu, so while there are some things I can no longer get, this place does the basics well.

It’s super clean. Our waiter was super nice. We got the lettuce wraps that were really good and the chicken lo mein that was really good too. I’ve also tried their egg drop soup and wonton soup which were 10/10.

This place SURPRISED ME! very unassuming place, not fancy but it’s YUMMY and I’m really not the easiest to please when it comes to food and service. I will definitely be back. And the female server I think her name is Tammy and the man Tony were sooooooooo nice and friendly. I will tell everyone I know about this place. Great food. I got the beef and Broccoli. Very crunchy vegetable fresh and great meat and sauce.

This is the 3rd time we eat here and food is consistently good. Lunch specials are really good. Service is outstanding. Large, roomy seating. The fact it's in a strip mall is probably the reason they don't have much foot traffic but we like it and eat there when we are in the neighborhood. Plenty of parking spots available.

I am so disappointed in our first dine-in experience, especially since we have done take out a few times and really enjoyed it. We went in around 6pm for dinner on Saturday with a party of 4. A guy greeted us who seemed like he was there to help bus tables, but not host or wait tables. We were seated he did tell us he would try to get someone to us as soon as possible. We waited probably 10+ minutes as staff walked by us but didn't acknowledge us. The same man came up and said I'm just going to help take your order. He did his best taking it down especially since he didn't know there menu and this wasn't his job...We ordered NY egg rolls, xiao long bao, two chicken dishes and green beans. The food took a long time to come out. The NY egg rolls came out probably 30 mins after ordering, I cut it in half to share and the inside was ICE cold. The man apologized a lot and took them back to redo it. They came out again but they were now over fried and dark and just disappointing - there is almost no meat inside of them. Then the chicken dishes and green beans came out. Those were all fine. My son had ordered the xiao long bao and we were told many times they were checking were they were. Over an hour after arriving they still hadn't arrived - and its four small soup dumplings! They then told us they sent it to another table (there was a table of like 20+ people in the back). I get a large table likely threw them off but they took the reservation and clearly couldn't handle their other customers. There was a contact stream of people coming in to pick up to-go orders from all the delivery apps. They seem to get their food out quickly while customers ate. In addition to the way too long wait and average food the ambiance was terrible. The lighting is bright and sterile and the decorations are like a cafeteria. The worst part though was this contact loud alarm that would go off when an online order would come in. It would go on for 5+ mins at a time and staff would be right there and never shut it off. It must have gone off 20 times, it was this awful piercing sound. Everyone at the table couldn't wait to leave. We really appreciated the gentleman who stepped in to help us, but where is the management and staff of this place? I would maybe do delivery again, but we all said we would never bother coming back to dine in.

The food, service and ambiance is nice. Everything I have tried is good including some of their drinks.

This place has assumed the spot previously taken by a szechuan restaurant that I didn't really enjoy. Unfortunately, this new restaurant isn't any better. To be fair, there was a good amount of take out and Door Dash activity going on, so this food must appeal to someone. Not me. Parking is easy in the strip mall parking lot. It was pretty empty as far as diners. Staff was friendly and helpful. However, it's always the food, and it was not only subpar but ended up making us pretty sick later on. We started with the potstickers. These were okay; not great. They use chicken, even though we all know pork potstickers are preferable, tastier, and the way they should be. Chicken just doesn't have enough flavor. Next was the New York egg rolls. This is like the most difficult item to find in Los Angeles. You find a place that can make them, and that place quickly goes out of business. You stumble upon another, and that place goes out of business or the quality plummets. I'm from NYC, and I would give anything for authentic NYC egg rolls. These were god awful. They are oversized and basically filled with nothing but bland cabbage. There should be bbq pork in there. They tasted horrible. The kung pao chicken came out and tasted okay. It was not great, but it was edible. Unfortunately, it's not a huge portion, and we hadn't ordered enough food for all three of us. We were playing it safe, in case the food was all around awful. Still hungry and since the food was not horrendous except the egg rolls, we ordered the Spicy Trio, which turned out to be the exact same sauce as the kung pao except with beef, chicken, and shrimp. The problem is this time the chicken used was slimy and old and the shrimp were very fishy and not fresh at all. These two proteins are most likely why we got so sick. Basically, bland and not good Americanized Chinese food. I know good Americanized Chinese food is hard to find in Los Angeles. Has been since I moved here in 1994. Unfortunately, this isn't it. Can't recommend and won't be back.

Was really excited for the NY style egg rolls. They were ok but didn't blow me away. Did delivery. Food was meh, wouldn't order again.

I like this place. The ambience is clean and comfortable. The service was very good and friendly. The waiter greeted us as soon as we sat down and we were slow to decide, but he checked back a couple of times until we were ready to order. And then the food came out and it was fresh and flavorful. The wonton soup was loaded with fresh vegetables and the broth was excellent. The sweet and sour chicken was some of the best I've had. The glaze was light and exactly right for the dish. I've put Fortune Dragon on my go to list. Check it out!

Open space and very clean. So many places over-salt the food and add msg. We like the natural taste here. Excellent lemon chicken (be sure to squeeze the lemon slices for extra lemony-ness). We also like their chow fun. Some dishes miss the mark, such as the sizzling rice soup that didn't sizzle. But we will go back often to find more favorites ! Not expensive and the portions are large.
