Really great food and drink. Pretty loud and dark in the jungle bar area but still a fun experience.
The sushi was by far the worst sushi I've ever had. We ordered 5 rolls and ate about 4 pieces all together. The sashimi was cut so thick and unevenly. Couldn't even eat a piece of that..our cocktails tasted like toilet water I took two sips of mine and I am a huge Tiki Drink fan. I used to work at a tiki bar. We left spending just under $200 and were beyond disgusted and disappointed. We watched Spikes channel on YouTube and it was completely overhyped to say the least.
A fun vibe and interesting cocktails.

We all know the more items on the menu, the lower the quality. This place was no exception. Such a dense menu, but it gave us time to tolerate the very slow service.
Though very busy, everyone was friendly and knowledgeable. The place is cute. Music could've been better. I would skip the appetizers. Stick with made to order items. Slowest bartender I've ever seen lol. Best cocktail was the Mystic Mayan.
Parking: The shared parking lot with the hotel was pretty full on a Friday evening. Weekdays might be better for both parking and service.

When we went, they didnt have a hard alcohol license, so their "tiki drinks" were wine based, so, that was weird. they also had no vegetarian/vegan options except for tater tots, so we didnt have a very good time between not having food or proper tiki drinks. we never went back.
Vegetarian options: they only had tater tots for vegetarians, they had NO vegan at all.

Atmosphere was great, service good , food not good at all cost $$$ very high. Was there with a party of 12 and down to a last person, we all hated our food. Appetizers were good. It's definitely not a place I would recommend or return to.

First time dining at KTT. I had been there before but only for a Tiki Marketplace. Agree with many of the other positive reviews. Great service, food, and potent drinks. The rum float is no joke. We had early reservations, and this helped with the noise level as it wasn't crowded. Would love to go back and get a table out in the main bar area as the two guitarists were wonderful!!!! I could have listened to them all night. The restaurant was very gracious and was able to accommodate my request to be seated in a particular booth. Thank you again Kahuna Tiki Tu. 🥰🙏🍹
Disappointed. I’ve been wanting to try this place and met up with friends. The drinks were brought out 1 at a time! The waitress said the bar was “busy” but there was no one else in the restaurant! I think they were having staffing problems. We had tempura veggies, fruit bowl and deep fried ice cream. The veggies and deep fried ice cream were terrible. It seems that the fryer was not hot enough. The veggies were oily and unflavored. The deep fried ice cream was doughy and chewy on the outside and the ice cream was low quality. The fruit bowl was not fresh. It mainly is a drink place and the drinks were good we mostly got classic tiki drinks - pina colada, rum runner etc. The decor and atmosphere is true tiki but the place is huge so not sure if they will make it if they don’t up the food quality and service. It was Sat night and the place was empty. I don’t think I will try again - it was pricey.

Just went for drinks and it was perfect. The drinks were good, service was quick and friendly, fun atmosphere
We have been coming here for birthday celebrations since they opened but tonight was not good. We were the only table in the entire place and a party came in with about 8 people in the back room and our waitresses completely disappeared. Our meal took 2.5 hours because we had to wait so long to get everything. I also said in the reservation and when we got there that it was my husband's birthday because my daughter loves the birthday Twinkie they give out and she was so excited and the waitress totally forgot and never returned to our table. Kind of ruined my daughters birthday celebration for him. Guess we will find another birthday celebration since the party was more important than the two tables you had in the restaurant.

Best hidden gem in LA!!! Food is DELICIOUS. Every roll I’ve had has been amazing. I think the lobster mac n cheese may have changed my life?? Also the coconut shrimp are bomb. Service is so friendly and it’s obvious the staff is always working hard. The tiki vibes are next level….so cool.

Had a great time here. Really tasty food, fun atmosphere, and a great selection of well prepared classic and contemporary tiki drinks. Well worth the (admittedly higher than average) price.

The experience at Kahuna Tiki 2 was great. The ambiance was exquisite with all the tiki decorations. We all enjoyed it a lot. We highly recommend the Sushi. The drinks are made in excellent form, with heavy booze and a lot of fruit flavor. The birthday girl wanted a Dole Whip Freeze drink, but the machine was not working, so she had to order a different drink. Before our dinner was over, the bartender asked our birthday girl who was over 40 if she still would like the Tiki Dole Whip drink, she stated please, and the bartender said he got the machine to work and made her birthday perfect. Great job!
The vibes and the music were fun and the waitress was attentive. We ordered the the fresh oysters but she said they didn't have any and the shipment hasn't come in for two weeks. That's fine it happens. We asked what she recommended and she said a sushi pizza...it tasted as weird as it sounds. We ordered some cocktails, they didn't really taste like anything just rum. They have a laundry list of ingredients but don't taste like much. They also had to come back and tell us that the blender broke and they couldn't make blended cocktails. A tiki bar with only one blender?....okay. We then had to wait 30 minutes for one roll. There was nobody there not sure if they forgot but we waited a while. Overall the food is fine, the alcohol is okay, the ambiance is fun and the waitresses are attentive. Just left a bad first impression.
