First of all, this is my personal opinion & experience, I saw a lot of people coming in so I might be more picky with what I expect from a coffee shop/restaurant.Service was really nice, the guy who took our order was friendly. The place is really cute and it was clean. We didn't like the food, most of their stuff is pre-cook/pre-made, so don't know how long it's been there frozen. I ordered a quiche and I saw when they put it in the oven, it was really humid inside, felt like a sponge instead of the warm, egg-ish texture, I think it's because the ice melted inside, so it was a bit flavorless. The pecan bar is was good, but a bit too stiff since it's been refrigerated too long. Waffle was basic, unsure if they made it from scratch or if it was a frozen one. Drinks were okay.Another thing I didn't like it was the excessive use of disposable plates & utensils, this is not very eco-friendly, it's a waste, which to me it's something to consider -personal opinion.I don't think I'd come again but people were coming in constantly, so maybe I had higher expectations.

Girl taking our order was not friendly. It was our first time there and the only coffee menu is right at the register so you don't have time do decide beforehand what you want.

This neighborhood cafe always serves up the best breakfast. Their Eggs Benedict is absolutely a must try and the coffee is superb.

Food was good! Got the fish tacos! Atmosphere was not great to me. I didn't realize I'd be sitting amongst things that are for sale. It's the vibe of the place. Not a bad thing but not for me.

I recently dropped back in here years after moving out of the neighborhood when I used to hang here constantly and was very pleased to see it is alive and as well as it always used to be. If you're looking for a place to grab lunch on your way through the valley (no ho/studio City) give it a try. It has a lovely outdoor space. The food is really good and the service is always great. There's also a gift / furniture / art store connected you can peruse and grab a gift for your friends, family or yourself. Even your agent if they still have a physical office! ?Parking: The spots are limited but they do have a few and the free street parking is really close.

IF YOU EAT KOSHER OR HALAL, BEWARE; HERE'S WHY: I ordered eggs benedict and specifically asked to replace Canadian bacon with turkey bacon, which they didn't do so I took it back and instead of making it new, they just swapped out the Canadian bacon with turkey bacon. Here's why this is a problem: if someone asks to replace a pork product with a non-pork product, you have to assume it is because they eat kosher or halal. When you place pork on bread, you CANNOT REUSE THAT BREAD AS IT IS COVERED IN PORK OIL. So this is pretty horrifying and disgusting to do.Further, the English muffin was BURNT. And I had to ask for extra hollandaise sauce and they looked at me weird, but they put literally nothing on there, maybe a teaspoon per. So the best part of what is ALWAYS MY FAVORITE BREAKFAST (eggs benedict) was the FRUIT.I will be sharing this with all my kosher and halal eating friends, and will never return, because a place in Los Angeles that has no respect for people who eat kosher doesn't deserve the service (in LA, where there are a LOT of Jews, there is no excuse for this). Very disappointed to experience this at a place that looks lovely and has a great atmosphere.

The food was good and tasty. The coffee was good. The atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable. Outdoor seating was full at the time of my visit. The furnishings for the inside dining were old, not vintage, garage sale like and not attractive. The shop felt under-staffed.Yes, I would eat here again, though.
