After my spouse and I had an accidental comatose-like nap until 8:30 pm we thought. Darn. What are we going to eat? Wayyy too late to start cooking. My first thought: YELP! After a thorough search for places that don't shut their doors already at 9:00 pm. I spotted this awesome place. We even ate next door at another place and never paid attention to Red Moon Restaurant & Lounge. How could we miss out on this extraordinary restaurant? It wasn't much going on. Well, it's Thursday around 9:20. That's how we like it. We were welcomed by a very nice guy who turned out to be also our server and the owner as I was corrected by my spouse. A very nice guy. We decided to sit outside right under a nice warming heater. A few guests were out there. I asked politely if it is ok if we'd bring our dog in. We left it in the car. I thought it was appropriate to ask first. And it was no problem. He brought a little bowl of water for our dog the minute I came back with our dog. My spouse and I already knew what we wanted to eat after checking out the menu online at home. My spouse had a vegetarian platter and a wonderful salad with it and I had lamb kebabs with rice and hummus and tomatoes and onions. And with it came an incredible side salad that could have easily fed 2 people at least. We also got 2 different kinds of pita bread. The soft and the crunchy ones. That is quite rare to find. The food was seriously delicious. The atmosphere on the patio was very cozy. Even though people were enjoying their hukkah, it didn't bother us at all even though we are non-smokers. I mean we were aware of it beforehand that people would smoke there. What's there to complain about? :) Our dog was happy to lie under the table. Some other guests with a dog we noticed seem also very kind. What a nice evening. A couple of times we were asked if we liked our food by the owner and also had a brief chat with him. Yes, this is going to be a place where we will come back and even bring the rest of the family with us. Thank you for a nice evening and good food.

Parking was easy as we found street parking pretty easily in front of the restaurant. Service was nice and attentive. Ambience is a bit lacking as we walked in and it was completely empty and tables were not clean. Also the crowd of patrons who came in here seemed very sketchy as some came in smoking cigarettes which the restaurant didn't say anything about. They do offer hookah which is nice but we didn't stay for it. Food was okay.

I went to this place because my buddy recommended it. Overall, I was satisfied with the food, but I did feel like something was missing. I tend to like my food a bit spicy and it was definitely missing that.There was only one person working, but overall he did try to stay on top of things.I got the beef shawarma plate. The portions were great considering the price ($24 or $25).Like any other business they have tremendously increased their price. There is a old menu on the window outside that shows the plate price used to be $16.99.The place is definitely aged and needs a good TLC.Didn't try the hookah, but will probably head back on a busier day for that to see what the atmosphere is like.

We started coming here during the pandemic because of the lovely and spacious outdoor patio. I have become addicted to the first thing I ever ordered here, the inadequately named "Chicken Salad" which the person who suggested the restaurant raved about. No mayo at all, delightfully different, just tons of chicken and lovely vegetables in a house-made tahini dressing. Unique, delicious and huge, always take half home. Service is always friendly and attentive and there are a million other things on the menu to order, I just haven't yet. Hope to try the Red Moon for dinner soon.

Food was excellent! Owner and all servers/employees were extremely attentive and very warm and friendly. You can go here just for drinks and chit chat, etc., but, I'd definitely stay for dinner!
The food is ridiculously good and very reasonably priced. The entire staff was very kind an attentive and the owner even came over to introduce himself and check to make sure everything was to our liking. Will definitely go back. Also, they had a belly dancer which was fun!

i don't leave many neg reviews but this spot was disappointing. chicken wrap - chicken was nicely grilled but bland. fries looked straight out of the frozen aisle in ralphs. not worth the price falafel - actually alright, solid dish fish wrap - nothing extraordinary, same fries from the frozen bag also the only highlight were the pita chips + hummus brought out at the beginning. Don't come here for food, just go to the thai place next door

Amazing lounge! I love coming here because the owner, George, makes the whole experience worth while. He's very attentive, polite and just a pleasure to talk to. Love the hookah and food! We come back here often as this is our new late night spot.

My friends & I really like Red Moon. It's one of our top places to order from when we order food to go. (And we've enjoyed dining there as well.) The food is always good, and George is very nice and helpful. (I requested family style for my recent to order, and they did a great job.)

The food is out of this world. Seriously SO good. The Hummus is the literally the best I have ever had, the kabobs were delicious. The cocktails were great. The owner and staff were very friendly and kind. If you like Mediterranean food and Hookah, this is your place. The prices are reasonable as well.
