Great food and you get plenty of it! Seems to be a favorite of the locals. Reasonable prices.
We will definitely visit again when we visit Ventura.

Really good breakfast in a very quaint cafe.

The food is typical breakfast fare, but feels like its prepared with some extra special care. Portions are generous and the biscuits are enormous. They aren't like any other biscuit I've had - kind of like if a dinner roll and a biscuit had a baby. And the jam was the sweetest I've ever had.

Also, I actually like the simple decor with white picket fencing and I noticed just how clean everything was. No dust on the walls or trim. Very nice place

Allison’s Country Cafe is a wonderful place for a hearty and delicious breakfast. The menu has plenty of options, from classic pancakes and waffles to tasty omelets and fresh sides. The food is cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and the portions are generous, making it a great value.
The service is excellent—staff members are friendly, fast, and make you feel at home. Even when the cafe is busy, they take care of guests with a smile and keep the experience smooth.
The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with a warm country-style vibe that makes it the perfect spot to start the morning. It feels comfortable, relaxing, and full of positive energy.

The fried steak was undercooked and rubbery, and the side of bacon was served cold. Overall, a disappointing experience.

Not for people in a hurry. Relax and enjoy your meal. Hadn't been in years. Eggs Benedict sauce needs improvement.

An adorable little breakfast place with excellent food and fast attentive service. We enjoyed everything about our experience except that we did see our server touching her nose with her hands and then grabbed our cinnamon roll with the same hand. Not sure if she washed in between or not 😬
Tongs were right there so not sure why she she was grabbing food with her hands. We saw her grab someone's quesadilla with her bare hands in the kitchen as well to transfer it to a plate. Must be something she does all the time

Good food (Curt's hash); tight inside aisle with two person tables next to the kitchen. BUT, they added a fantastic permanent outdoor dining area. Servers are attentive and very friendly.
