After finding horrible queues at other breakfast places we found this place and only waited about 5 minutes to be seated which is fantastic for Ventura, CA! These people know what they are doing. Despite covid and restaurant renovations (dining is in a temporary area) we enjoyed one of the best meals we have had in a long time - fine dining at an affordable price. The view was beautiful but the actual restaurant is lacking. There was a weird smell -maybe sewage system. We moved to the outside patio area and it was better. Concrete floors in the patio area were dirty and needed a good scrubbing. I had the scallops. The actual scallops were tasty but the prosciutto with it was tough and I couldn't chew it. The croutons which are house made were flavorful but had sat too long and were mushy. It wasn't served really hot either so...
