Despite the mediocre reviews I decided to give this place a try as I was looking for a quick bite. I ordered the roast beef and egg breakfast bagel on an everything jalapeño bagel plus a macchiato. I knew I had gone wrong when I heard a microwave turn on. I was expecting a fresh sandwich not a microwaved egg the roast beef was brown almost grey looking. When I think of roast beef I think a nice pink slice of meat. After taking out the egg and meat I ate the bagel with just the cream cheese. And that wasn't bad at all. Pretty decent bagel. But definitely not worth the steep $18 for a bagel and a coffee. The two ladies and the gentleman there were super friendly and were making conversation while I was waiting. Which I always appreciate because I hate awkward silence. They have a cute little setup to enjoy a cup of coffee as I did appreciate the macchiato.

I ordered from here on DoorDash. We ordered 2 chocolate chip bagels. They split up one chocolate chip bagel and paired it with one regular bagel. Like put the top half of a chocolate chip bagel with the bottom half of a regular bagel and then paired the bottom half of the chocolate chip bagel with the top half of the regular bagel...

Best in Ventura Banana Nut muffins "to live for" (whole nut walnuts baked on top) crunchy and crusty, perfect sweetness. Bagels baked to perfection. Cheese onion jalapeño my favorite and the Everything. Who needs cream cheese ! So glad BagelRock survived gentrification. TP

Bagels were great, jalapeño with cream cheese is always yummy but why are two bagels with cream cheese 14$... Way too high, not worth the price i wasn't too focused on the environment. The owner was really nice and i respect that.

Bagel lover beware! Was looking forward to trying this spot after the glowing reviews, but I will not be taking a chance again. I understand coming at 10:30 after the breakfast rush some options may be limited, but I was told there were no bagel sandwich options available (nothing from the grill or veggies at all), only toasted bagels with cream cheese. I purchased a cheddar everything bagel with a spread of cream cheese. The bagel was flat and INCREDIBLY greasy! I’m sorry to say the bagel looked as flat as if someone had sat on it and the flavor was not good. Maybe this is a spot where the pastries and coffee are more of the main business (I did hear a local person commenting on how good the chai was). As far as bagels are concerned, though, I will be steering clear in future.
