This is the 1st time in 25yrs that we don't celebrate our wedding anniversary at Black Angus. The Ventura location has been closed for a few months now and no reopening date. So very sad....

The restaurant in Ventura has been red tagged as unsafe to enter by Ventura county and so is closed down. We were disappointed when we arrived there to see the red tagged notice on 11/19. It apparently has to be rebuilt so is closed indefinitely.

The filet mignon was quite a disappointment, way too tough for a filet and not as tasty as it should have been. The bread was awful, if they can't make better, they should partner with a local baker. The drink was very good. Food service at the bar was very slow even though the bartender didn't appear too busy. Never again!

Showing the server me 1 person Groupon she said most people order fm back of the menu. So she asked what sections I wanted & I told her 2 entrees & 4 sides. I mentioned to her "all was enough for 2 people!" Didn't dawn on me it was for two people till I got the bill. I even told her I showed her me ticket so it wasn't like I wanted to order for 2. It was taken care of otherwise I was prepared to wash dishes & mop floors! Great food. It was obviously a "miscommunication" b cause I did show the lovely server me ticket; I guess she just assumed it was for 2, despite me being alone.
Excellent! Dominique took fantastic care of our 3 person group for dinner. She was one of the best waitresses, hosts and bartenders that I have ever had the pleasure serving me. Very knowledgeable. Fun, enjoyable personality. She did an outstanding job of taking care of every wish, desire and want that we had! Food was wonderful, cooked to perfection. I highly recommend.
Parking: Large open parking lot next to restaurant.
This place is a real gem and a great place for a romantic outing or a family outing. We love the booths that keep you private and able to hear your own conversations instead of others. The food never disappoints.

We love to come to this restaurant, and feel totally taken care of by the most adept staff. We love to be recognized from members of the staff and greeted warmly. The privacy provided by the booths is also a real plus for us. When you have hearing difficulties, this type of seating is a necessity. CHARMING and DELIGHTFUL!

We had not been to Black Angus in years. Why??? Why did we wait so long? The food was great and reasonably priced. Our server Carly was spectacular!! We were a party of 10 and she was on it! Carly provided great service in a professional yet personalized manner 10/10 for Carly!

Wheelchair accessibility: The lay out is inclusive for all walking limitations and devices.
