We ended up sitting at the bar doing some happy hour drinks and food. The bartender is very knowledgeable of his products. The food that we ate was very good. Prices for happy hour are not super cheap.

Excellent food and great service. I had filet mignon fajitas and they were the best fajitas I have ever had. We stayed to the adjacent Clocktower Inn and highly recommended both places.

One of my "go to" places to eat in Ventura, the staff are amazing, especially Layla running the bar, the food is delicioso!! and they have live music at the weekend. My favourite dish is the Fillet San Buenaventura.Parking: Lots of street parking and free parking nearby, and the clocktower hotel car park

I always love going to the blue agave and my go to is their chile rellenos. This time I decided to go light and ordered from their happy hour menu and got the chicken Tostitos with mole. The corn tortillas were lightly fried, the chicken was moist, and the mole sauce was out of this world!!! service was wonderful and we will always go back again
Celiacs beware! Food labeled GF is not gluten free. Chips are dusted with flour. Corn tortillas are dusted in flour.Dietary restrictions: Not a good choice for gluten free food

We made reservations for a party of 10 for my dad's birthday on a Friday night, mainly for the advertised mariachi. Food was good, drinks were even better. The margaritas were great, and the service was the best. They checked on us often and our drinks were always full. The waiters were so attentive. Unfortunately the mariachi never showed up but hopefully we get to see them next time as we plan to come back soon.

Friday night and they take reservations! That's a plus for us with a large party for Birthday Celebrations, they have a nice side area for larger parties. The food was delicious and the service was on point. I ordered enchiladas de mole and they were surprisingly not sweet, to me that was perfect. Everyone got their food on time and servers were quick to give refills before even needing to ask. The only bad thing, we looked online and they promoted a mariachi/live music on fridays and unfortunately there was none, that was the main reason we went to this location in the first place. They assured us next Friday they would have live music, we shall see.

It was a perfect afternoon to sit on their patio and have an early dinner. The food was good and priced reasonably, but their alcohol prices are a bit heavy. A nice happy hour menu was offered and the staff was prompt, helpful and friendly. It's a good choice if you're in the area. A real plus was the public parking lot available just on the other side of the hotel located next door.Parking: Spots are on the small size and the disabled spot I saw didn't appear to be wheelchair accessible.

We joined friends at Blue Agave on. Yes. Cinco de Drinko Day for light eats and their famous Cadillacs Margarita's. DeliciousPlace was hopping busy but our bartender/server was very attentive and made our Cadillacs and served us so expediently. Five. -Cinco-- cheers for Lyla. She is the greatest!!!
