We stopped by here about 6:30pm after a day trip to the Channel Islands on a weekday. It wasn’t crowded. We sat at the bar. The service was excellent. The food was really good. I had the Hawaiian Poke Bowl and my husband had the chowder and fish and chips. Both were excellent. Would definitely go back.

Boatyard Pub is a great spot for fish & chips, or try their poke bowl! I always recommend this place to friends and family for tasty, well priced fish and chips. I always get the halibut and chips. I love that you can customize your fish + chips combo. Their batter is always light, crispy, never soggy or greasy. If you want good drinks, don't skip their menu either! They make a great whiskey sour. Another thing worth mentioning is that they are never crowded - there's always a table open and ready. They have great live music in their bar area so if you want good night life, here's your spot for a weekend night out.
