I regularly go to the Boatyard Pub for multiple reasons. It's the perfect location and vibe for a casual chill after working onbthe fishing boat all day/ week- I don't have to walk far to get to a place that often feels like Cheers. Everybody DOES know your name. The food is always good and I have yet to have a bad dish, with the taste and portion size being perfect for someone who is discerning and burns calories. The staff makes me feel like family... they ARE family....
A pleasant suprise. We ordered the calamari, loaded potato skins and clam chowder from the Happy Hour menu. While the calamari portion was quite small, it was still good value as it was so fresh and perfectly cooked. It was served with a chipotle mayonaise/sauce and also some cocktail sauce. Chipotle was too overpowering for this delicate and tender dish; my only suggestion would be some salt on the lovely light batter.

Boatyard is the go to spot in the harbor. Food is always delicious and one of my favorite things to get us the Ahi Poke. But not only is their food great but their drinks and staff are amazing. They even have live music many nights. If you haven't been, GO!
