Very tasty pizza with excellent crust. So loaded with veggies that I had eat the first piece with a fork and knife. Very attentive service Updated from previous review on 2026-02-06

This place is simply amazing and full of atmosphere. I once tried the chicken and waffles here, and it’s the best place that makes it — even though it’s not on the menu, I order it every time. Everything else is just divine as well: the sandwich, the soup, the pastas… You definitely won’t regret coming here.

Used to be great, quality control seems to be lacking.

If you are perusing a simple, good meal this place is not for you. The corn beef hash had the consistency of blended scrambled eggs. The expired lox, in addition to expired orange juice, caused a extended stay in the restroom the next few hours. Though the atmosphere may seem intriguing our recommendation is unfortunately to simply avoid Busy Bee Cafe.

Breakfast was good at a good price! Outdoor seating was nice!

Sometimes I find the food better than others, but this is a great place to have lunch or breakfast. It's old-timey, and used to have working juke boxes at the tables, but no one can be found to fix them. The service is good, wait persons are attentive. Eat in or out.

So the whole of Ventura was very busy. We got a table here and I am so glad we did. We had to sit outside. The milkshakes are fantastic and worth a visit on there own..

While walking in downtown Ventura, we stopped in for lunch after seeing the vintage 50’s decor. The service was immediate and friendly. We each had the burgers and all but one were cooked the correct temperature. We loved the decor and the prices were very reasonable.

Had some tri tip tacos. Delish! Good location downtown.

We split a beef dip sandwich with onion rings and a pastrami sandwich. The beef dip was good but the pastrami was so much better than any pastrami we've had lately. Shockingly good!
The onion rings are kind of sweet and cake dough-y but good. The potato wedges are a nice change from the usual mediocre diner fries. Overall our meal was much better than expected! Cute decor and friendly staff.

This place looks like a greasy spoon. This place smells like a greasy spoon. Please place tastes like a greasy spoon. I would not want it any other way. Very friendly and quick service. I thoroughly enjoyed my bacon cheeseburger with the extra toppings I ordered on it.
