Old school mid century diner vibe right smack in the middle of Downtown Ventura... The food was good and the service was excellent. This particular trip I had a BBQ beef sandwich with fries (my arteries suffered but damn it tasted good) and split a shake with my wife.

Food was good, but service and ambiance fell short when multiple vagrant flower salesmen were allowed to solicit. I like to enjoy my food in silence, and when the first one hasseled me at the table I asked my server to get them off my back. Nothing happened, and then a second one was allowed to come in and do the same thing? Crazy. Dont come looking for a quiet or uninterrupted meal.

Very nice server. She took the time to explain the specials and gave an honest opinion about the options on the usual menu.Parking: There is a parking lot around the corner if the street parking is full.Wheelchair accessibility: It is very easy to enter the restaurant or outdoor seating.

This is your old fashioned diner for sure. They still have the box style jukebox on each table. You can play the old tunes for a quarter. The food is plentiful and tasty. There is a lot of hustle in the kitchen and dining area. They have counter space and booths. They have a booze. If you're looking for diner food this is the place.

Service was great, food was amazing, had the breakfast combo and steak and eggs. Steak was cooked to perfection. And the sausage was yummy. Would deff recommend!

Busy place, but the wait wasn't long. The server was friendly and efficient. The food was standard breakfast fare. The location is great, eat and shop all the great shops on Main Street. There is limited parking behind restaurant and nearby lot across the street.

I've walked past this place numerous times because I'm at the farmers market on Saturday morning and was looking for breakfast and this being the only place open at that time early in the morning I stopped in for something to eat yesterday, the best thing about this place was the waitress, I ordered simple breakfast, eggs, over medium bacon with O'Brien, potatoes and coffee, very simple, the eggs were OK. The bacon was OK. The potatoes were white with no color whatsoever. They were the onions and peppers hadn't been cooked. just thrown in there, raw, I also ordered the biscuits and gravy, biscuit was OK. Gravy was cold, I looked up and saw the cook in the kitchen who had a giant bruise on his upper cheek by his eye, he looks like he spends more time fighting outside of his job than he does caring about the food that he is paid to execute, the waitress asked me if everything was OK, and I explained to her what I thought about the food, she said that the cook was mad at her at the time, because he had made a mistake on her previous order. the coffee was also terrible, this only tells me that the owner of this place could really care less about his operation, I'll bet he never dines in his own restaurant, because if he did things would not be so pathetic.

The service was wonderful! The man helping us was attentive but not pushy and the food was great! We got the Sunrise Pancakes and Corned Beef Hash meal and it came out fast and was absolutely delicious. The diner is very retro and cute inside and I loved all the decor. It was very clean as well!

Good food, great looking dinner with that 50s and 60s vibe. Service is hit or missed. Shakes are pretty decent and the Tuna melt was good and nachos are the bomb. Burgers are great and well cooked. Would recommend for the vibe and food. Just be cautious about the server you'll be

It’s always a great experience when we stop by to grab a bite! The aesthetics are always top notch with a table top jukebox at your fingertips. The variety of food selection is amazing whether you’re looking for a good old fashioned burger or traditional dinner. Lily is always a great server who provides exceptional customer service with a smile. A fave place in downtown Ventura!
