This was my first visit to Deep Sea wines. They have two tasting flights: an all red flight for $26 and a mixed flight called the Signature Tasting Flight for $20. I decided to try the Signature Tasting Flight which consisted of a 2022 "The Seahorse" Sauvignon Blanc, 2022 "The Seaturtle" Chardonnay, 2022 "The Seastar" Rose, 2021 "The Helmet" Pinot Noir, and 2021 "The Duel" Red Blend. They also offer food, ranging from a cheese plate ($18), three pizza options, two desserts. I didn't have any food during my tastings but some other customers ordered while I was there and the pizzas looked really tasty. Definitely might give them a chance the next time I stop by. I enjoyed all the wines I had that day but I ended up taking The Seahorse Sauvignon Blanc home. They also were kind enough to let me try the Conway Pinot Noir which was different from the Helmet Pinot that was part of the Signature Flight. I love when I'm able to do a side-by-side comparison of two wines - it often helps me decide what I'm going to purchase. Even though I preferred the Helmet Pinot more than the Conway (although both were really good), I was in a Sauvignon Blanc mood so I decided to take that home. The tasting room was spacious with comfy couches, bar seating and even an outdoor patio. With the location being at Ventura Harbor Village, there wasn't really a bad seat in the house as you're able to look out at the boats and water while you taste. As for parking, when I arrived at about 10:30 am that morning (the tasting room doesn't open until 11am) there were plenty of spaces. But other customers that came in after me commented how it was hard to find parking as there was an event happening that day, so the lot was very full. Stephanie and Jessica poured my wines for me and they were great! Answered all my questions, were prompt when I was ready for my next pour and were super pleasant. Even when they got very busy towards the end of my tasting, they still made sure I was taken care of. Would definitely recommend it.

Went to enjoy a glass of wine. Ended up doing the red flight tasting. Decided to join the wine club because every wine we tried was delicious. We don't even live near there but it has inexpensive shipping. The ambiance was perfect on the patio by the docks on a sunny Saturday afternoon. The cheese plate was delicious! This place gets an A+.

Love!!! It was my first time at Deep Sea Ventura and I can't wait to go back. First and foremost the vibe is on point. It's super beachy which is perfect since it's located at the harbor. I love that all their bottles have a cute beach design as well. They also have a new bottle collab with CARL Dogs where they donate $1 back from each bottle purchased to CARL! This is a perfect place to relax with your pup on a weekend or after work. Cheese platter was small but good. I didn't try the pizza but it smelled amazing. The wine is great. I am not a rose drinker but I actually really liked their rose. They have an awesome 1 bottle membership for locals. You just have to buy 1 bottle and you get a free tasting every month!! Staff was so kind.

An odd experience. I was with a group organized by another person. The group wound up larger than expected. It happens. A couple were sitting at a table next to our group, I admit I felt sorry for them. With my back to their table, I laid my sunglasses on the corner. A staffer came over, handed me my sunglasses and lectured me all about the noise, how it was not my table, on and on. She knew the other person had arranged the group, I said a couple of times she should talk to him, not me. I just did not expect to be picked out as the one person to be lectured because of poor planning. I had been happy to have a wine tasting option in the harbor. I won't be back.

Seven out of five stars for George - he's charming, empathetic, and has excellent taste in wine. He's also incredibly adept at handling colorful customers. I enjoyed his recommendations, particularly the reserve label pinot noir. Also, get the cheese plate.

Christina was such a great host! Well it felt like you were in a home lol! Deep sea is so cozy and I felt like I was in my living room. I sat at the couches ! I really enjoyed the Christmas decor inside. I came during Ventura Harbor Winter Wonderland early in the day and went back later in the day to see the Parade of Lights. I enjoyed the white wine I had. I'm not usually a wine drinker lol ! I stick to beer and mixed drinks but this wine was great! I was at a brunch on Sunday that same weekend and brought my friend here after we ate in Downtown Ventura. We were celebrating Friendsmas. She loved it! We sat outside and people watched. Great times!

I've been here twice, and enjoyed the tasting flight (perfect portions for me since I'm not a big drinker), and vegan snacks. Staff was super friendly. This spot is so clean and nicely decorated. Vibe is very casual and airy. Would return for a glass of wine or a tasting again.

Poor service!! We went there and very short staffed! We bought a flight and every time we were ready for the next wine, we had to get up from the porch and go get it ourselves. I could of done that from home. That's why we go to restaurants/ wineries- to relax and get served! The charcuterie tray was ridiculous. Overpriced or more full of crackers than anything else. There was maybe one date and one apricot on it cut into pieces to look like more. By the third wine we still hadn't received it and ordered it inside when we ordered the flight. Finally had to ask for it. This business needs to pull it together and spend a little money to make money!!
