El Asadero is the real definition of it doesn’t matter what’s on the outside but what’s on the inside this place might look intimidating but the food here is so good I got myself an al pastor quesadilla and it’s one of the best ones I’ve had in Ventura. food is served very hot like how food is suppose to be served I will definitely be back to try out more things from the menu. I highly recommend trying this place out you won’t be disappointed.

The food is very well seasoned and it is one of the best places to eat in Ventura. The value for money is quite good and you also have ample parking.
Parking: It has a very large space to park without problem.
I’ve been coming here for a long time since I was a kid and the food is good but charging almost $19 for a wet burrito after tax is a little much i wish the prices were equal for the verde and rojo wet burrito now I don’t eat there anymore

The truth is, I don't recommend it. I bought 3 cakes today and the sauces are all roasted. With this heat, things spoil the quicker and they have to be checking that between the sauces and the food because that is a bad sight for the restaurant, as they don't. The quality of the carne asada was really top tier. Prices are area average. Very chill environment. The server/cook was very nice and even gave me a small slice of extra meat, which was great.
