Just had an asada burrito and the people that say they have the best in town aren't lying. Melt in your mouth steak, friendly service, and the red sauce put it over the top. Best I've ever had.
This Mexican food restaurant is in the older part of Ventura referred to as The Avenue. The food is authentic Mexican, with a typical Mexican décor that you would expect to see in Mexico. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The food was exceptionally good and made to order. The prices are reasonable and it's a nice family atmosphere as well.

Food was amazing. Chef was so nice. We had a torta a la plancha con carne asada y el burrito ranchero y unas micheladas. Riquísimo. So good. Sad to go back to our nyc Mexican restaurants that just don’t do it like this. Great restaurant to stumble upon.

El Asadero is the real definition of it doesn’t matter what’s on the outside but what’s on the inside this place might look intimidating but the food here is so good I got myself an al pastor quesadilla and it’s one of the best ones I’ve had in Ventura. food is served very hot like how food is suppose to be served I will definitely be back to try out more things from the menu. I highly recommend trying this place out you won’t be disappointed.

I stumbled in here on accident after a hike and I am SO GLAD I did. These honestly might be the best tacos I’ve had in the area. So so so good.

The food is very well seasoned and it is one of the best places to eat in Ventura.
The value for money is quite good and you also have ample parking.
Parking: It has a very large space to park without problem.

I’ve been coming here for a long time since I was a kid and the food is good but charging almost $19 for a wet burrito after tax is a little much i wish the prices were equal for the verde and rojo wet burrito now I don’t eat there anymore
Al pastor tacos were really tasty.
