This was a super awesome find! We walked in and we're the only ones. I kind of wanted to leave but am I glad we stayed!!! I had the carne asada meal and it was delicious! The meat was marinated perfectly and very tender! The beans rice and green onions were perfect! Chips and salsa were fresh!! Loved it!!!!

Asked many times for this business to turn down the loud obnoxious music that they play - illegally- on Sundays. They simply don't care about the Main Street community. They lie to other businesses in the area and are selfish when it comes to the noise pollution they make. Also - awful food. Also, this establishment does not follow the county Covid-19 guidelines.

Blasting music on a nice Sunday where people are actually trying to wind down. No respect for their fellow business owners, and their food is absolute trash. Also not enforcing mask policy! Music won't bring in customers, good food and service will.

How is this place still open? Did the county jail donate the uneaten food from their kitchen to El Rey? My meal was so bland and tasteless, I thought I had covid for a good minute. I don't understand the 5 stars im seeing. Drunk people shouldn't be allowed to yelp while intoxicated since they're mistaking 1s for 5s.

Food wise, you can't go wrong with their coconut shrimp tacos and margaritas.Experience wise, El Rey's is always a good time. It's tradition to come here every year for my birthday, along with random weekend nights. We always have a great experience here. Lonnie is wonderful, always goes above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need. Along with all the other customers I see him interacting with. He is all around a awesome guy and really cares about his customers.Thank you Lonnie for being the best of the best. You rock!

Loud and obnoxious people cursing and carrying out very loud conversations for everyone to hear. Inconsiderate and rude. Not a place you want to go.

Beware. Poor service. I had to wait 20 minutes to get a side of salsa and when the salsa finally came it had remanence of guacamole in the bowl like it had been used before. This place tipped themselves 2 extra dollars more than I had given on my credit card!!! Wtf.
