Ex Voto Chocolates and Confections

As soon as I walked into the beautiful shop the delightful smell of chocolate hit me. These handmade chocolates are like pieces of art. Not only are they gorgeous, they are delicious! The unique flavors change with the seasons. A box of Ex Votos are the perfect treat or a gift.

Chocolate is very good, and ice cream and espresso are exceptional. Everything was always just perfect.

I absolutely love this little chocolate shop! The chocolate is very high quality and all handmade. The champagne truffles are divine and make amazing gifts along with all of their other beautifully hand decorated chocolates. My absolute favorite item though are the salted caramel turtles. They are absolutely life changing!

They also have delicious small batch ice cream and specialty coffees which are always yummy. They recently offered Dubai strawberry cups on special Saturdays and they were fantastic. So decadent and delicious. There is plenty of parking in the lot behind the shop.

Had the turtle one and it was decadently delicious! The absolute perfect blend of salty sweet.

Probably the best chocolate in Ventura. Each is an exceptional treat to behold and consume. The coffee they serve perfectly complements their fine chocolates.

Haven't had a chance to try these beautiful chocolates yet, but the scent in the store is heavenly and the service may be even better. The chocolates themselves are stunning, attention to detail is obviously important here. I recommend getting a box for someone special and a 2nd to keep.

Update: The chocolates are excellent! I loved them and I also got them to give as gifts which made me very popular!

My Aunt in Memphis, TN ordered three small mixed boxes for my family here in Ventura for the holidays. My daughters and I had only been to this store once for some gelato, and it was wonderful, but we just hadn’t been back in since then.

They hand delivered the chocolates and I have to say these are THE BEST chocolates I think I have ever had. Seriously, the craftsmanship is a feast for the eyes and the flavors are beyond delicious.

I am kind of a truffle hound and this will now be my go-to when I want to really indulge and get something truly special! 11/10 Do yourself a favor and get in there and try what they have to offer, it is guaranteed to blow your hair back!

Incredible handmade chocolates with a focus on creative ingredients. Chocolates are not as sweet to allow for the other flavors to shine. This is an amazing local gem.

The thing that’s bothering me is that they are NEVER OPEN! What kind of business closes at 5 pm! And there also Closed like 3 days a week. I would love to rate them higher but I can never get anything from this place. It would be cool if they at least stayed open until 6 pm

Beautiful, decadent handmade truffles that are almost too pretty to eat. I added turtles to my husband's Valentine box this year and he absolutely loved tpromised. The online orders I've placed have always been ready when promised.
