I ordered my favorite menu item earlier today, the Babushka. Normally everything I order here is a five star slam dunk, unfortunately today was underwhelming and not worth the 30 mile drive from Santa Barbara. First pic is today's babushka, second pic is one from a previous visit. Consistency is key and today was definitely lacking.

One of our best dining experiences of many in Ventura. I almost hate to review it because I don't want other people to crowd this gem. The beer selection is impressive and the bar is the most casual vibe in town. It was a little brisk to eat outside, but on a warm afternoon there would be no better place to be. The awesome sauce here isn't the beer, the bar, or the vibe. It's the pie. Fair warning, compared to the 4-5 other pizza places we've been to in Ojai and Ventura, the pizza is huge. Strong recommendation to go for slices of a few of the pies because a single one of the monster pies will easily fill 4 hungry people. The ingredient pairings seem a little funky, but merge perfectly. Also recommend getting it angry--adds heat and flavor without killing the pie with heat. We did the angry on half and both halves were good. Damn good. Roll yourself out to your car good.

Came here for a drink with a small intimate group (we were literally just going to get a drink, no food involved). We got here a little late but still 30 minutes before closing (9:30, their business hours say open till 10) they refused to serve us. Wish I could say I will be back in the future, but I won't be wasting my time here.

Amazing chalkboard of rotating beers, very tasty pizza. I did have the wings once but they were strangely bland and rubbery, would not get again. Decor is cute retro and pop culturey. There is seating inside at the bar and outside at tables. Parking lot is available but limited! Order at the bar and your food will be brought to you. They don't have ranch for dipping, only bleu cheese, so be aware of that if you get fries. Water is free refills inside as well as napkins and utensils!

Great spot for a good variety of beers. We came on a rainy day so everyone was huddled inside but it looks as if there is plenty of outdoor seating normally.

Best pizza in Ventura county!! The Dr. Pepperoni is so delicious. On crispy sourdough with uncured pepperoni and gooey cheese so good! Would definitely be a 5 star but having to wait in very long lines each time you want a beer kinda kills the vibe, hopefully they can fix this but other than that a great place. Huge beer selection and all the food we've tried is delicious! Service can be hit or miss but it's never been terrible.

Sometimes you get lovely service and others times I've felt like I was a nuisance from my pretentious bartender. Overall, I recommend it for casual dates or hang outs with friends when you want a more hands-off dining experience and good pizza and drinks.
