I ordered three things. A large fry. A plain hot dog for my little dog. No bun. Nothing. A small cherry icy. The total came to $23! On top of that they wanted cash. Although there was no sign to say that there's cash. There's a sign when you get up to the window that says there's an ATM inside. I went to Wienerschnitzel. I suggest you do the same! Small cheesy chili ranch fries. One small hamburger patty plain. One Huge strawberry lemonade/cucumber tea. $14.99.

I was so excited to stumble across this Foster's Freeze, until I received my order. I ordered the large ice cream sundae. I walked up to the window to pick up my sundae and when I saw it, I thought the lady working there was playing a joke on me or trying to be funny. My ʟᴀʀɢᴇ sundae was maybe 1/2 a scoop of ice cream with barely a teaspoon of hot fudge. When I realized it wasn't some sort of game, I made a comment about wondering what size a small would be. My experience that day was very disappointing.

Higher priced for banana split than Santa Paula location and skimpy on toppings.. Vanilla only ice cream flavor - other location has chocolate.. a childhood favorite, but too expensive now.

Customer service is lackluster and their card reader is always down. Dining room/restroom is closed to patrons for some unknown reason. Food is ok at best when you need a quick meal but would rather head to Chipotle around the corner. Do better Fosters, I’m sure revenue is on the decline and it shows with the lack of amenities available.

This location of Foster Freeze has been sooo horrible the last few times! They really need to update their hours on their website and Google cause every time we go, they always close at different hours and say they "shut off" the ice cream machines WAAAAY earlier than their website hours show. We show up 30 minutes before the posted hours and they are always "closed". This has been a disappointment and the inconsistency of this place is what has pushed me away to no longer give them business. Sad.

0.25 for this ranch? Is that enough for one onion ring? And it is not real ranch dressing. You can tell it is Kraft from the bottle.
Were the onion rings at least bomb? No. Bland, subpar. I could have gotten better at Wendy's sad to say. Chocolate milkshake fresh from the machine? No ? pre-made and sitting in a fridge off to the side. How much you ask? 8.99 for a medium!!!!! Foster's Freeze is known for making bomb shakes but just sitting in a fridge? McDonald's even has it fresh. And hold on folks, Cash Only for 5 plus months now. We stopped and got Cash at the atm because we knew the machine had been down. We won't go back again for this expensive crap food with all the inconvenience, it was not worth it!! Woman at cash register was super nice though. Very kind and tried to get me an extra ranch....no go but at least she asked.

Paid $33 for 2 combos, prices have gone up. Our fries were very oily and crispy, asked for fresh fries. Kind of disappointing, the wait time was around 15 minutes and there were not any other customers around. It used to be so good but it has changed.

Went for ice cream, the machine was down. Ordered onion rings they charged for the ranch. The ranch was so tiny! Enough for one onion ring. We ordered a large cheese fries, we got a small. We thought they gave us the wrong one. The kid said no. That’s a large. The same size as a small? Just that the small comes with less fries. The teenagers working behind the counter did not smile, were not friendly at all. We love frostees but we were highly disappointed with our visit at this location. Almost $20for cheese fries and onion rings. Oh and it’s cash only. -_-

They have been “Cash Only” for over two months now. I’ve been turned away several times because they can’t get their payment systems out of the Stone Age. It’s 2024, offering your customers contactless payment options is a bare minimum. Get your equipment fixed.
