I ordered a smoothie and waited over 35 minutes for the smoothie on May 16, 2025 at 12:30pm...people who came in after me got their food before I got my smoothie. I think it was obvious that I was being slighted and that the staff deliberately did not give me my smoothie just because I did not tip and that is because I do not tip before trying the food or experiencing the service, otherwise, if it's bad, I would regret it. I did not have a table either. I knew the smoothie was sitting in the back the whole time and not brought out on time for that reason. I had to ask three times for the smoothie to be brought out. You guys are very good at being slight with customers and very discreet about it, so I commend you for that, that takes real talent. The food looks amazing but if you do not tip, they will be petty and not bring out your order on time. Disappointed and unacceptable service. There is no reason this should have happened, and it doesn't take 30 minutes to make a smoothie.

Food is good but seating system is terrible. This is the second time my family and I go and get moved out of line and told there is a wait when there was no sign prior to getting in line to order.

While waiting for friends Tesla to charge, stopped into the Café for a brewed coffee. Friends had tea. We didn't have food. Indoor seating fills up quickly. WiFi was speedy. Single restroom was clean. I would go back as a charging hangout

Long line of people with no pets, so I sat my dog next to a single chaired table outside while I waited to order, which I’ve done before. Was told by the host that the table was reserved so I would need to move (which was completely understandable) but then was told by a different worker that another table was opening up so we could stay, given that outside is the only option with a pet. Host rejected the workers idea, said that she’s the one who decides and that I could put myself on waitlist because they ran out of tables. All very fair given first come first serve, but was done in an unnecessarily and incredibly unpleasant way. Sucks because it wasn’t that serious and I really enjoy this place.

Frontside Cafe is a true gem. The environment is charming and the restaurant beyond clean. The design and attention to detail is simply beautiful. The owner went over and beyond today to make my day special. He knew there was a dish that I wanted to try and as we were finishing up our amazing breakfast he brought the dish wrapped up and ready to take for later. The kind gesture made me cry. You can feel the authenticity of this wonder place when you walk in the door. The acai bowl is like no other! They even let me put my granola on the side. A must try. Thank you!!!

I saw this place online and wanted to give it a try over the weekend. It was pretty confusing when the server showed us to our seat and gave us menus they never mentioned we had to get in line inside to put in our menu so we sat around for nothing for about 15 minutes. The banana bread and smash potatoes are delicious but nothing else really stood out.

I loved our time at Frontside Cafe. It has a clean design, plenty of seating, great food, indoor/outdoor environment, great coffee, and good service. I loved my fresh aussie breakfast. my wife hat the aussie meat pie breakfast. Both were very filling and tasted great.

Food poisoning alert.
I wanted to check this place out for a while. Today I finally came by to order a meal to go. The women at the front desk was kind and I had a pleasant experience. Unfortunately that was my only positive encounter.
I noticed a Togo order came up and the lady behind the counter smiled and called me over to give me my order. I didn’t check the bag because it was just a breakfast sandwich. As soon as I got home I realized it wasn’t my order and it was for a Celeste. The restaurant was closed so I called to have a refund sent to my account. The person who answered the phone didn’t apologize once or put any effort into correcting their mistake. “You have Celeste’s food.” - I have the food you or coworkers gave me?
So inviting decide to eat the food that I brought home. The pork sausage patty and potatoes had me sick an hour after consuming with food poisoning for hours.
Celeste if you’re reading this, you dodged a bullet. Not only was the customer service horrendous but their food isn’t handled properly. Will never be back.
Pretty solid food quality for the most part. A little bit overpriced, but that might be arguable to some given the fact that they do put a forth good effort into ensuring the quality of their food. Surprisingly, wasn’t the best service during my most recent visit. Definitely won’t be tipping as well next time right off the bat like that after that level of service. Uh uh. Good atmosphere overall though. Just don’t get caught slippin’ with lackluster service and bank on the rest of the ambiance to make that up for you always.

Stopped by Frontside Cafe in Ventura, CA yesterday. They serve high-quality, flavorful dishes with fresh ingredients, as exemplified by their Lemongrass Beef Bowl, Miso Chicken Katsu Sandwich, and Ahi Tostada that we devoured. The ambiance was fresh and modern, and the service was efficient and friendly. While prices may be slightly elevated, the superior quality of the food justifies the cost. The owners were passionate and dedicated, adding a personal touch to the dining experience.
