We LOVE the breakfast options here. Im stuck on the California Eggs Benedict - DEEEE-LISHISS! My wife's go-to is the Chilaquiles. The staff seems to never be very happy for some reason? The lack of outgoing friendliness by the staff is definitely made up by the food.

Service was wonderful, but unfortunately the food was rough. Breast special was bland, and the steak and eggs were interesting in a bad way. They really need to turn up the heat on the pan that they seared the steak on. The trash whispered some forbidden knowledge to me on our way out.

The server was very pleasant. One dish, bacon (minimal), spinach, and cheese. Good but needed more bacon. Egg breakfast with bacon and hashbrowns not so good. Hashbrowns tasted like old griddle, not cleaned and eggs were over easy, not over medium.

Monday and in the area for business. I was looking for breakfast for lunch and The Galloping Hen came up in my Google search. It wasn't crowded at 11am and the hostess was very friendly. The decor is quaint with a definite small town restaurant vibe. This isn't your corporate restaurant. Ordered within minutes and the food was brought out within 10 min. The eggs were hot and the bacon extra crispy like I asked. The pancakes were good but a little dense. I personally like my pancakes more on the airy side. They weren't bad and the best thing was they give you soft butter on the side. I would've liked my syrup warm but not a game changer either. My milk came cold and I believe it was a chilled glass. Awesome! The restaurant was clean as was the bathroom. I'll be back when I'm in the neighborhood again.

I'm never disappointed and I know I can bring my picky-eater friends here. They have the best beans I've ever had in my life. My dad loves it so much that when we often go for breakfast, he'll also order something for lunch to take home.
I wish my food came out hot I ordered the waffle with strawberries Scrambled eggs and bacon Unfortunately it was cold The only thing that came to our table hot was my coffee My son ordered Biscuits and Gravy hash browns That came out lukewarm First time at restaurant, thank you it will be our last. I can’t enjoy cold food when it should be hot Our Server was Eduardo, he was outstanding 5 stars.

The Galloping Hen was a wonderful find. I got the seafood eggs Benedict and my husband got the chili Verde omelet. The hollindaise is house made, light, but flavorful. The hen eggs are cooked with green onion and onion and delicious. A little crisp on the outside and tender on the inside. My husband loved that the chili verde was both on the outside and inside of the omelet and the creativity of this omelet.
It was a friendly experience, cute decor, and amazing food. I highly recommend visiting for breakfast.

Food poising on April 10, 2025! My friend and I both ate the corned beef hash breakfast and we both got sick 🤢🤮. I called simply to advise them so they could check it out. The owner answered and hung up on me before I could say anything. I called back but he wouldn’t answer the phone. It went to voicemail so I left a message. The owner picked up the phone and disconnected me from leaving my message. So, I’m left without knowing if he gives a damn about it. Apparently he does not. I didn’t want to leave this review but I was forced to because of the owner’s lack of concern. DO NOT ORDER THE CORNED BEEF HASH!

everytime I order online my plate is soggy at the bottoms and very flimsy today I picked up my order and my salsa wasn’t even fully closed and the bottom is sinking down
