The server was very pleasant. One dish, bacon (minimal), spinach, and cheese. Good but needed more bacon. Egg breakfast with bacon and hashbrowns not so good. Hashbrowns tasted like old griddle, not cleaned and eggs were over easy, not over medium.
Monday and in the area for business. I was looking for breakfast for lunch and The Galloping Hen came up in my Google search. It wasn't crowded at 11am and the hostess was very friendly. The decor is quaint with a definite small town restaurant vibe. This isn't your corporate restaurant. Ordered within minutes and the food was brought out within 10 min. The staff seems to never be very happy for some reason? The lack of outgoing friendliness by the staff is definitely made up by the food.
