I’m not kidding. I walked in there and took a risk on the first day of work where I only have half an hour for lunch.
That’s a tight schedule any time let alone on the first day, trying a new place .
Well, since I’m not from Ventura, I had to do something .
Literally ordered 3.5 minutes prior to receiving one of the best burgers and fries you could ask for and given the location it was reasonably priced . I really do think it was the fastest turnaround time I’ve ever seen on such a good dish with totally fresh specialty fries just cooked!
I don’t know how the heck they did it, but it was absolutely shocking for them to hand that to me that soon after I ordered it.
I was able to get back to my job after taking most of the time sitting there, enjoying the open front scenery, people walking by with their dogs, etc. in sunny SoCal no less and eating one heck of a good little meal.
I want to think the chef and the guys who run the place, as just burger and fries rarely gets you so thankful, but this time it happened.

Best vegan food i've had in a long time (smash burger and chicken sando) and absolutely best fries and beer/cider/seltzer selections. Love the decor and the guy dealing with the busy crowd who reminds me of the guy from Pop Copy but in the best way.

This place is poppin'. Amazing burgers, precisely chosen drinks, and I love that they added pizza and salads to the menu. The owners really put a lot of care and effort into the eatery, and it shows!

This was my first time trying this new place! We arrived shortly after they opened and were surprised to find that a few of the tabletops were not wiped clean.
We ordered the single smash burger and the hot chicken sandwich. I would order the burger again but would go for the double. The chicken sandwich had good flavor but was not crispy.
The fries that came with the burgers were a huge portion and deliciously fried. The ranch tasted homemade but we were charged $1 for the side.
I would likely come again to try more things off their menu!

So excited for Happy Place to have a brick and mortar! Great smash burgers and fries, also love their pretzel bites and spicy cheese sauce! We’ve been going to the food truck for a while but love the vibe the owner, Sky, created for his restaurant. Also LOVE their tap beer system, it is one of a kind. Overall come here for a great smash burger and great vibes!

I recently tried this place for the first time and absolutely loved it! I had the vegan grilled chicken sandwich which was incredible and the fries were cooked to perfection. They even have a separate grill from the one that meat is cooked on for the vegan and vegetarian items. The vibe in this place is casual and fun and I love that they only serve local beer, cider and wine. I plane to go back very soon to try the other vegan items!
