Service is friendly enough, prices are quite high for vegetarian fare! I ordered the burrito bowl because I loved the ingredient list (first was brown rice), but was disappointed when I received the bowl because it appeared to be white rice. If it was brown rice, they probably should change their rice selection to make sure it's identifiably brown x). It was also a very tart bowl and really needed something to balance it out. The first bite was tasty but boy, it was hard...
I spontaneously visited for an afternoon snack. My expectations were modest, as I had mixed experiences with gluten-free bread. However, the coconut-donut and the grilled cheese were both very delicious. It's cool that they make their own vegan cheese.
Awesome to find organic food in Ventura, it’s the only place I know of.
My kale and berries salad was not the greatest, the kale was tough (not massaged as described on the menu), also missing the quinoa and chickpeas (ingredients listed on the menu). The vegan cheese was supposed to be made out of cashews but looked and tasted like humus. Overpriced for what I got.
The mushroom toast ordered by my partner was very good, mainly due to the excellent seed bread.
