Great coffee and incredible food. We loved the super friendly staff and the great breakfast menu. The polenta was amazing; perfectly seasoned and just the right amount of cheesy/creaminess to the polenta itself.

Food is always delicious here, Michael our server was great. We had a hiccup when my food came out with cheese on it but something that happens often with allergies, but I was super impressed with how fast they refired a new one for me. The tiramisu topping to the waffle was my wife's favorite, super airy yet creamy. ????

Immigrant Son has been on my radar for some time. After hearing about it over and over from locals, I finally made the trip with the family. My overall rating would be a 4.7 out of 5!Food was really great. Everything tasted great and not pre made. Most of these hyped up breakfast joints are a huge let down. In my opinion, breakfast is hard to mess up or make better so if you're gonna shine in the breakfast category it better be REALLY GOOD. The highlight is how they try to infuse the Italian heritage into their dishes. I personally got the Giovanni's Omelet which has prosciutto and pancetta. The salmon on the Smoked Salmon Benedict was really fresh. One of the highlights was the potatoes -- the seasoning really elevates the taste. The one drawback I would have would be that the vegetables were slightly burned but that's something I'm willing to overlook.Overall service is fantastic as well. From the moment we walked in, the hostess was super sweet and very attentive. The servers were all really friendly and helpful and HONEST. I don't like when servers recommend something that they don't think is good or they wouldn't actually recommend to another customer.Lastly, the vibe was great with its European-esk look and feel. I think that what makes this place so much fun is you have three options to sit in: indoors which is nice and calm, indoor patio, which offers the best of both worlds getting fresh air but having a roof over you, and last outside which has a nice patio deck and you can see the whole Main Street. My final note would be that the coffee here is pretty great. This is important because most restaurant and cafes have horrible coffee. I had black coffee and we tried the cappuccino, flat white, and latte (none pictured, sorry we needed the caffeine asap).Love this place. Will definitely be coming back again soon!

I was in Ventura for a few days and decided to stop by due to the Yelp reviews. I ordered the bacon flight and breakfast lasagna. Two dishes that I have yet to come across in my hometown (Chicago). I also ordered an egg nog latte which was great. The bacon flight was tasty and interesting and I loved my breakfast lasagna. It had a lot going on flavor wise. The actual restaurant and building it's in is pretty cool and our server was super friendly. I also liked the thin waffle cookie they give you with the check. I don't know if I'll have the chance to be in Ventura again, but if I do, this the first place I'm going for food.

Very nice brunch place near main street ventura, Benedict comes with both potatoes and fruit which is nice, they have good espresso and juice too. They give you a sweet treat at the end which leaves a good taste and memory.
