Waited almost 30 minutes for our sandwiches, after they told us it would only be a 5 minute wait. There was only two people working behind the counter and neither of them seemed like they knew what they were doing. Also our sandwiches were extra crispy on the bottom for some reason reason.

Food is great as always but they are the slowest Jimmie John’s I’ve ever been to. They repeatedly kept taking new customers telling them it’s a “5-10 minute wait” when it took 25 minutes to get 2 subs. They were working a catering order when we showed up but they should tell customers that and give them a more realistic estimation of time . It can’t be 5-10 minutes for everyone. They also had orders come out in the wrong order. 2 people got there food before I was served even tho I ordered first. Hire more people and quote an accurate wait times.

Just grabbed a chicken Cesar wrap from there and this is my second time and they pretty much gave me lettuce with a hint of chicken. The gal said it’s portioned out but this wrap definitely is not the same as when I got it like a month ago.

First time there. Staff were friendly and food was prepared quickly. Sandwiches were delicious. Would definitely check out the Jimmy John's in Ventura.

Jimmy John's is my favorite for quick, healthier comfort food options. HOWEVER, the delivery option at the Ventura store always seems to be a hassle for me. I always write down very specific instructions for the drivers because I live in a complex. Today, I gave my driver very specific directions over the phone, told to her to stay put and walked around the complex looking for her. I eventually received a notification saying my order was delivered but it never was. I called her and she said she delivered it to my unit and would text me a confirmation of the delivery. It never came. The delivery was through Uber and the employee I spoke with on the phone was polite and said she would refund my order. I feel awful giving this review but the driver didn't seem to care to make it right when I called her after telling her she didn't deliver order to the wrong unit.

Order food for company, not only was the sandwhiches ridicoulsy smaller, but the sides they say are for 20 people feed maybe half that. Over all I feel this place is a dumpster fire waiting to explode. I would go some where else unless you want to be lied to and ripped off.

I actually applied to be a manager there. The interviewer says there are 3 manager positions open but then informs me, I have to start at the bottom. In other words they are advertising a manager position, but wants you to take a sandwich makers position. I'm pretty sure that's a bait and switch. I am very disappointed in the owner of the franchise. I'm not a lawyer but I'm pretty sure that's illegal.

Gave only a single portion of roast beef and no provolone. Y’all are skimping either trying to pinch pennies or improperly making sandwiches. Used to work for JJ’s, guess it’s going downhill.

dude working there had absolutely no idea what customer service is. it was like i was inconveniencing him to be there. Also forgot part of my order that I had been charged extra for just 30 seconds prior. You are supposed to say “would you like to add cheese” not “do you want cheese” so the customer knows it costs extra. Also the bread was hard.

Coming from Idaho where I used to eat Jimmy Johns all the time, we were so excited to find that there was a location 45 minutes from us, in Ventura. The staff wasn’t friendly, and our bread was so thin, not the normal fluffiness JJ’s usually provides, and hard as a rock. When my husband also was shocked, I decided to ask if the recipe had changed. The woman behind the counter said, “no, why?” I explained that the bread was hard and thin. She said, “well it could be the weather.” I have seen some better reviews on the Oxnard location, so I will try that one before deciding to only go to JJ’s in other states.
