The food is consistently good, traditional Mexican food. Good flavor, fresh ingredients. The staff is always really friendly, which seems to be a rare thing. I pass a few other spots to come here.

The team here is so humble and make you feel so welcomed. Their menu options are more than other Lalos and is more restaurant style. The prices are only a dollar or two more but the plates are bigger than your head! Well worth it and great for a big family dinner. Also the chips and salsa are perfect! I love to go to this Lalos for a nice sit-down atmosphere and the Lalos on the Ave for a quick pick on the go! I am so happy to have a family run restaurant like Lalos in my hometown to go to. Thanks you guys for continuing to provide super authentic fresh food for an affordable price for all of Ventura!

First time coming to this location we always go to the Oxnard location. We decided to give it a try. And it's the first and last, after being there for 13min. and no one cleaning the empty tables. My husband asked if some could please clean a table so we can sit. The response was we will clean it once we have time. So we went outside to one of the tables they had out there. I guess we will just be loyal to the Oxnard location.

It's a mess everywhere, the food is horrible, I ordered some nachos and the guacamole is literally spoiled and too expensive, don't waste your money coming here.

The absolute best shrimp cocktail I have ever had. You have to try it!

Love this Lalo's.....the wait staff are always competent and friendly. My "usual" are the carnitas nachos (light on the meat because I don't like taking home leftovers...and they put on A Lot of meat). I get the shredded cheese option (which you don't always get at other places). Super yummy and filling.

Delicious food. Wow. Great atmosphere. Helpfully nice staff. But no table service. You must walk up to the register to order. No big deal, you forget all that when your big plate of amazing food arrives !!!

I ordered the wrong tacos and got chicken instead of beef. I wanted to switch but they said I couldn't even though I never touched them.
The chicken was terrible! Worst chicken ever. ??So,over cooked and dry! It almost seems like they twice cooked that bird It was so yuckie!
Never going back!
