Stopped here after seeing their sign posted for $1 tacos on Friday nights. It's only for the chicken, pastor and the asada - still a great deal! The al pastor was good, but nothing stood out about this one. The chicken was seasoned and was good. The asada was really good and tender.. this one stood out from the rest as being the best of the 3. They've got a salsa and condiment bar in front of the truck. Not bad tacos for a $1 each. be prepared to wait, the line seemed to be longer for these tacos.

I was here last week, after seeing the solid 5 star reviews here on Yelp. Wow, $1 street tacos on Friday after 5! I showed up 10 minutes early thinking there would be a line down the block, but no... there was not. The tacos on the Friday night special were the Pastor, Pollo and Asada, (although they do offer many other items on their menu.) I ordered 6 of each of the $1 tacos and then waited. Several people came after me, and ordered a few tacos, but nothing like the flood of people I was expecting. There was a very nice condiment cart with fresh cilantro, onions, cucumbers and lemons along with 3 different salsas to choose from sitting outside the food truck that was quite nice. There were a couple picnic tables under a cover to sit at, but I think most people order to go. When my number was called, I couldn't wait to try these 5 star tacos!!! First the Asada. I took a bite and got a large piece of gristle and bone. No big deal, a one off perhaps, but they didn't have the flavor I craved. They were dry, rather bland and lacking any hint of charred beef. Ok, the Pastor will be better right? Sadly, no. Dry, and lacking of any wonderful flavor I was expecting. The Pollo was the same..., very underwhelming. It was the first time I didn't want to finish my meal when going out for tacos. I know this food truck is part of the church outreach program, and the workers were all really nice. It just didn't live up to the 5 star rating I was expecting. I'm glad I tried it, and glad I could support this place, but I also don't want to take away from the taco places down and across the street that make a fine street taco and are rated 4 and a half stars. Maybe it was an off night, or maybe there were some new volunteers cooking that night, but it was a miss for me.

Their Birria tacos are awesome and so are their Mulitas but one just can't go wrong with street tacos , the El Pastor and Asada are my favorite (packed with a ton of flavor) and a Jarritos to it and you've got the perfect lunch combo! The crew is pleasant and Sergio always has a smile on while he takes.your order!

Maannn! Best tacos in the county! The Birria tacos melt in your mouth! The staff is amazing! And it's next to a what seems like an amazing church that I will have to check out soon! I would give 100 stars if I could! Must try! You won't regret. Also they will be catering for my wedding next month!

You don't find $1.50 tacos in this economy anymore. They were well made, I tried some pastor. They even have veggie options like potato. Service was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Awesome horchata, tacos and vibes. They're super friendly and hardworking. We came after church and they were parked outside. The line was long but definitely worth the wait.

I had the carne asada and al pastor tacos and they were delicious!!! The salsa had great flavor too. I also love that supporting this taco truck means you're supporting a great cause.

Best tacos in Ventura. Not a bad item on the menu. The owner is very friendly and gave our dog a tiny cup of carne asada as well.
