Came in for a couple quick drinks, but it was so disappointing.
This place is really beautiful. It's one of my favorite structures in Ventura and the interior is also impressive, especially that ceiling. But the drinks. For one, the menu has all the prices whited-out, first red flag. The salsa that came with the chips was basically just onion and tomato water.
We ordered the strawberry mojitos, the picture looked appetizing, but they weren't well made and looked nothing like the picture. It was basically a strawberry slurry with soda and had almost no kick to it. One of us said it might as well have been a Four Loko. The picture had these really nice tall glasses and they gave it to us in mason jar cups 馃拃
It sucks because the beauty and history of the building gives the expectation of really good quality, and we overlooked other probably better options because if it. It's one of the few latino places in this part of Main Street, too, so we were excited to try it; But it turned out to be a bit of a waste of use for such a beautiful place. Service was decent, at least.
Tasty food in a beautiful building with great ambiance. Expensive, but understandable given the gringo upscale vibe and the location right on Main. Would recommend as a solid sit down option if you鈥檙e after a nicer looking spot for evening margs.
A great place to pop in and have some drinks and shared plates (starters).
Our waitress was awesome, very Kind and super helpful too.
The place has great Latin music downstairs and a live DJ upstairs playing hits.
We almost missed out on this place because the vegan menu is separate from the regular menu. You have to ask for it specifically. It would be better if they just included the vegan and vegetarian options with the rest of the menu.
Still, the vegan chicken fajita was fantastic. Beautiful paintings on the walls and the ceiling and lamps are very pretty (see photos.
Cons: It was very loud. This place is best suited to large groups.
place stinks AND they're about to host a racist moms group at their location. NOPE. NEVER spending another dime at that place EVER AGAIN.
I stopped here with two friends while in town for a conference. We arrived on Saturday and it was quite busy, but we got a table quickly. We received a small bowl of salsa and chips. The staff was able to accommodate our requests. This Mexican restaurant is very seafood forward. While it was yummy, I felt I was missing some flavor. I also don鈥檛 like that restaurants don鈥檛 have salt and pepper on the table anymore.
The food was mostly good. Steak was overcooked and taquitos were also overcooked.. the MOST upsetting thing was when we got our bill. The menu stated $17 for the Fiesta Platter, we were charged $25. The menu stated the carne asada al a Tampiquina was $18, they billed us $28!!!! That's a HUGR markup. That should be against the law. We will NEVER go there again.

Was here on 10/11/24, the waitress was very nice, the mixed drink was tasty, the salsa amazing, however things turned from good to bad quickly, the appetizer came out luke warm, then we ordered fajitas, my favorite, those were not sizzling at all, luke warm again and the steak tasted rotten, definitely spoiled, the nail in the coffin for us was when right after tasting the spoiled meat a small COCKROACH was walking down the side of the booth right next to my husband, we were both immediately grossed out, called the waitress over and told her, she said she usually doesn鈥檛 see too many there. Oh my gosh you need to get a handle on bugs in a restaurant. Needless to say we were absolutely done, didn鈥檛 eat our food or finish our drinks, however with this horrible dining experience the waitress still had us pay our full $120 bill. We were sooooo disappointed in this place, do better!

This is the place you want to come for big portions, big margaritas and really really good time. Always love dancing on the third story and not only is the food here amazing but the prices and portions match! I would 100% recommend!
