We had dinner at Lucky Thai in early March 2024. We had the pumpkin curry with chicken, drunken noodle with chicken, and the rib eye green curry. All 3 dishes were very flavorful, and served hot in good size portions. 4 of us shared three entrees, and it was plenty. The food was delicious, and five stars for perfectly cooked vegetables. The service was attentive, too. The dining area is not particularly inspiring, but it's fine. It's a great restaurant, and based on that one meal I think this might be the tastiest Thai food in Ventura. We'll be going back for sure.

I ordered a noodle dish with white fish. The fish was deep fried, very greasy and tough. Very overcooked. All other Thai restaurants I've eaten at steam their fish. I returned the dish as it wasn't edible. Vegetables were undercooked. All very odd.

I ordered the combination with shrimp, chicken, and pork, chicken pad Thai, soup, and the ice cream with fried bananas for dessert. My food was so good. It was some of the best food I’ve ever had, no joke. The meat and vegetables is seasoned well and the ice-cream is refreshing. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I would definitely go again. Highly recommend. My favorite thing was the 3 meat combination.
